Jimin had just arrived at Junglook's office and as soon as his secretary let him through he brought a smile to his face and greeted his brother who was already looking towards the door.
"Hey, what good wind brought you here?." Jungkook got up from his seat to give him a quick hug and Jimin couldn't help but let his smile grow.
"Honestly, it's been a while since I've seen you so happy to see me," Jimin told him with a laugh and then took his seat across from his desk and waited for him to sit at his.
"Since you are wandering around sightseeing I will assume that you are feeling better." The joy of the fact was evident on his face as he spoke and Jimin felt briefly bad for once since what he was about to say might spoil his nice mood.
"You know me, nothing keeps me down for long. How are you doing? I hope Y/N hasn't annoyed you today." He mentioned you on purpose but Jungkook didn't give much of a reaction.
"The usual. Nothing serious." He replied casually and Jimin took the opportunity to push the conversation where he wanted.
"Don't worry, she won't be a burden on you for long. I'll make sure to buy her a car so you won't have to be with her outside of work and get bothered by her."
"Well, it's not like I dislike her so much. But how come did you decide to get her a car? It's not even her birthday." He showed his wonder and Jimin forced himself to not smile and betray the fact that he made his life so easy with his question.
"I've done a lot to her lately as you know. However, I realized that in the end, she is the only person who stayed by my side and did everything she could to understand me. I feel a bit stupid now but I decided to try again for our relationship. You know not on a friendly level. We talked about it and she said she'd think about it." He brushed off his lie so naturally with a smile that wasn't due to the fact that you had given him hope for a possibly real love affair between you two but because of the fact that Jungkook's face literally froze at his words.
"What? Why do you want to be in a relationship with her again? Since you don't love her." Jungkook's voice betrayed his momentary anger and Jimin pretended not to notice.
"I love her, just not in a romantic way yet but this time it will be different because now I want to win her over. I want her heart and her body and I will do my best to win them and put my life in order. "
" Yes I don't mind, that's good...but how are you going to get over your feelings for Seon? You went through so much. You betrayed me for her. You were in love for so many years. It wouldn't be nice to use Y/N again you know" The way he seemed to be trying so hard to find something to go against Jimin's idea, had him celebrating on the inside because it looked like his suspicion of him having feelings for you was true.
Because if the opposite was true, now Jungkook should be flying from the joy that Jimin was ready to quit on his love for Seon. It was beneficial for him, and that should have been what he wanted to get some hope back but his reaction made Jimin understand that there wasn't just one woman in his heart anymore. It seemed almost like a miracle to him.
" Of course, I wouldn't do such a thing. The effort will be sincere on both sides if she finally says yes. By tomorrow she said she will have given me an answer. Anyway, I shouldn't bother you, with my issues. I just came by to say a quick hello." Jimin stood up from his seat, not giving him any further time to say anything else.
"Ah, in the evening I have arranged for us to go to the familiar place with the boys. If you want to come, you're welcome." He threw him another piece of information before walking out of the room, leaving Jungkook to stare at the door, speechless for a few seconds, before turning his attention back to his papers.
However, his mind should have been focused there instead of having Jimin's words ringing through his mind like a curse, filling him with a fit of inexplicable anger that hadn't even caught his attention until he saw the pen that he had in his hand, now broken in two.

"What the hell did Jimin say to him and turned him into a tyrant again? He told me to trust him and he went and made him want to kill me. What sins am I paying for god? " You were dusting off another folder in the company warehouse where Jungkook had ordered you to go and find him a certain folder.
Jimin hadn't told you exactly what he had told him, all he had told you was that when you go home you should tell him how angry he was and then he would tell you that you needed to know. You didn't quite understand how anger related to what you wanted to know but even at that moment, you didn't care because the warehouse was filled with boxes and folders that made it almost impossible to find a specific one without a name. All Jungkook had told you was that it was a green envelope with a sticker on the back.
"He wants me to stay awake tonight it seems. It's almost time for workers to clock out. And he told me not to dare leave without finding it. Oh! How annoying he is!" You kicked a box in frustration before you gave a quick look at your surroundings and proceeded to take your cell phone out of your pocket to call Jimin.
But before you could even press the call button, a voice spoke out, making you stand up immediately.
" Oh, so this is why it's taking you so long to find a simple file? You're fooling around." Jungkook told you as he approached you with a look full of annoyance.
"I wasn't slacking off, I just wanted to take a moment to tell Jimin that I'm going to be late." You explained but for some reason instead of those words reassuring him, they made his gaze harden on you.
"Jimin, Jimin Jimin, that's all you're thinking about. I wonder do you ever think about anything else? When you're at work you should be focused on work and only work."
"That's it, I had enough. Listen here little one. You're starting to get on my nerves. It's not like I left my job halfway undone even when I had a lot more on my mind than now. What has gotten into you anyway!?" You couldn't bear it longer and lost your patience with him briefly only for him to suddenly grow quiet.
What had gotten into him? Not even he could understand himself. He may have been angry over the fact that you were willing to give his brother a second chance even though he didn't deserve it after his cheating and he thought that forgiving him was dumb of you. But if that was the case then he wasn't someone who should be talking because he accepted Seon back and was ready to pretend nothing happened at first, when he had gotten his memory back. He had no right to be upset with anyone but he was.
"Can you...not rush things?" He told you leaving you to look at him full of confusion as to what he was referring to.
"Not rush what?"
"I know sometimes it feels convenient to go back to the familiar. Especially if there's already some interest...but...don't go back to him...please." His face betrayed his complex emotions as he was shocked by his own thoughts because within himself, he continued his sentence.
I'm not ready yet and I don't want to offer you a divided heart, so please...wait for me.
