Revenge

A new day arrived again and the alarm clock on your bedside table soon started ringing reminding you to get up.

With one eye closed and the other open, you turned it off and looked at the time, freaking out immediately after seeing that it was too late.

"Jimin !! Did you change the alarm clock !!? !!" You shouted now fully awake as you jumped out of bed and started running like crazy to get dressed for work.

You quickly finished your basic morning needs such as brushing your teeth and washing your face and went back down the corridor and into the bedroom to get dressed.

You were tagging your shirt in your pants while arriving at the living room where to your surprise you found no one there.

Of course, at this hour he should be at work, I forgot.

You thought right before you rushed to grab your coat and make a quick hairstyle with the brush you always leave on the small table by the exit. Then you proceeded to put on your boots and grab your bag before finally heading out the door.

While running, you took all the steps of your apartment building in just a few minutes, finding yourself in the streets in a blink of an eye, heading for the subway, which you had to take to get there faster.

He will fire me on barely the second day.  I even passed the first one with difficulties. Ah~

You felt slightly irritated with yourself because you may be strange in many ways but you were always consistent and you had a big problem with being set up and because of that, you tried to never be late for anything in general. It was the only good advantage one could say that you had yet now you had failed on being punctual on the second day of your work.

As you reached the subway and entered, trampling yourself among the many unknown bodies you dared to take a glance at the clock again and sighed when you saw that you were already five minutes late and you would certainly not get there before some extra good ten minutes passed.

Your breath was a mess by the time you reached the company building and you were sweating from the running you had to do from the station to there. Your feet were aching but once inside the building all you could think about was to hurry and get to your office,  and once you succeeded, you sunk in your chair like a dead tired body, while ignoring the eyes of your co-workers who of course had taken notice of your delay.

After taking a breath, you got your bag off and placed it aside, only for that very moment to see everyone standing up quickly as Jungkook had made his entrance with his secretary by his side, doing the daily surveillance.

His eyes soon fell on you who, although you had proceeded to quickly bow your head and greet him in a choir with the others, but the fact that you looked sweaty and the way your shoulders were moving up and down at a quicker pace than the norm, couldn't escape his perception.

Yet he decided to let it be and not put you in a difficult position as it was obvious that you had just arrived so he just smiled and continued his patrol giving you the freedom to seat back in your chair at last.

"Why did he hire someone like her anyway. The girl can't even come to work on time." One of your coworkers commented loudly enough for you to listen but since you were tired, you decided to ignore her and just calm down before starting your job for the day.

You had not yet gotten into the production of articles as the special section of the magazine had yet to open because it was scheduled to start next week but until then Jungkook had assigned you to deliver at least three articles a day to your supervisor Shin, who then would decide if you were worth staying at this position or not.
