Valentine's Day

Among red balloons in heart shapes and red rose petals which you were spreading, you found yourself feeling annoyed over how much the confetti -another worker had thrown all over the platform- was sticking on your shoes.

"Bring in the window!" The one responsible for decorating the scene of the upcoming photo shoot, shouted, making you hurriedly spread two more fistfuls of fake petals and rush away from the scene only to turn and observe it once far enough.

'Our magazine's front cover for Valentine's day is definitely gonna be the best.'

You felt a sense of satisfaction trailing down your chest despite the fact that the set was not anywhere nearly finished, but it had already started to look so promising. The concept for this edition was showcasing love through gestures and the magazine was gonna be full of romantic tips and suggestions. The front cover was gonna be occupied by a newly announced couple from the entertainment industry that had not yet done any public appearances together. Jungkook had definitely hit a jackpot by closing them for his magazine's special valentine's issue.

On the website of the company where a trailer had been updated some days prior, was evident that a huge amount of people were gonna purchase it for as always everyone tends to be curious about the love lives of others instead of looking after their own.

With a satisfying smile, you proceeded to reach the table where the rest of the props were gathered and you left the basket with the petals there as it had not been your job to spread them, to begin with. You had just gotten involved as per usual, for no reason. You had only come by to inform Shin that he had left his phone in his office and it had been going off for quite a while. Enough to make everyone at the office annoyed at least, and ask you to go deliver it to him.

"Wait till they all learn that I am Jungkook's girlfriend. I will laugh to my heart's content seeing their faces when  they realize who they have been ordering around so rudely." You murmured to yourself as you walked away and stepped out on the corridor, finding your thoughts funny.

You weren't really planning to make your relationship with Jungkook public as there was no reason for such a thing and you actually preferred the fact that only your circle of friends knew and no one else. All that mattered was that these two months that you have been officially together, had been very pleasant and everything between you two was going just like you imagined it.

Jungkook would behave weirdly at work like the improper lovesick fool that he is and isn't ashamed of being but no one had understood that his behaviour was due to something romantic going on between you two, for he never behaved normally with you, to begin with. His flirting was merely an attempt to annoy you in others' eyes, and sometimes it was so in reality too but you had no complaints. As strange as it may sound, a day without him frustrating you or annoying you even a bit, sounds somehow not right.

The vibration of your phone going off in your pocket was what woke you up from your tail of thought and made you halt your steps as you were about to reach the elevator door, which you called by pressing the button before reaching for your phone and answering Seon's call.

"Hey, are you busy?" Those were the first words that entered your ears once you had placed your device near your ear and you threw your eyes around reflexively for her low tone of voice had made you feel the need for privacy unconsciously.

"Not for the moment. What is it? Why are you talking like this?" You replied back in a whisper to match her and as the elevator door opened, you slipped inside quickly, feeling happy that it was empty.

"I am speaking like this 'cause Jimin is in the other room and I don't want him to hear me. I think they are planning something for Valentine's day tomorrow." Seon informed you and you cracked up unintentionally as that didn't sound troublesome to you.
