Chapter 48

Seon swallowed her saliva with difficulty as she found herself standing in front of Jimin, his eyes staring at her wide for he was utterly surprised by Jungkook's actions. 

"Jungkook, what are you saying now, why are you placing people in an awkward position." You intervened as you walked over to his side and pulled on his arm so he would let go of Seon's forearm.  

"Why would they be awkward or shy, she's his girlfriend. After all, in order for my brother to heal faster, he needs love and affection." He insisted as his gaze remained on the couple, looking determined to see them kiss right that instant. 

"Don't worry, she loves me enough already, she doesn't need to kiss me." Jimin tried to change his mind with a smile on his face, but unfortunately Jungkook's gaze darkened in response.

"You all look so weird, as if you don't want to kiss. And why would a couple in love resist so much for a simple kiss? Unless of course there is something I don't know or you have lied to me about something." Jungkook's words brought a chill to the atmosphere as a cold sweat bathed them all realizing that he was quite suspicious and this was threatening as they could not let him know because the doctor had warned that a sudden recollection of memories or whatever was to be shocking for him could have an unexpected effect on the patient.

"Of course nothing is wrong, just usually Seon is shy to express her love in front of others." Jimin replied, laughing a little ostensibly, pretending that Jungkook's words had seemed funny to him.

He reached out and grabbed Seon's wrist, bringing her to seat at his side on the couch then he looked into her eyes before he leaned in and captured her lips softly and simply, giving Jungkook what he was obsessed to get, while his heart was beating inside like a drum full of fear. A rhythm that was matching her heart as she grew pale at the action.  

You immediately turned your head away from the spectacle, still not accustomed to seeing them together and not completely forgetting the moment you had found them in bed and Jungkook just smiled at the sight, pretending to be content with what was happening, although this was not true, because the only reason he had done all this scene was to see his wife's reaction and now that he saw you looking away, he grew to be more anxious than he had been before.

Because now his head was filled with suspicions about the relationship between his wife - You- and his brother.

"There, he kissed her now so he will heal quickly. I hope you are satisfied, now let's get to the table and eat." You said, before grabbing Seon by the hand and pulling her back into the kitchen.

You looked at her friend who was completely pale and reasonably so as she had never imagined that her husband would force her to kiss his brother and enjoy the spectacle on top of that. It was crazy just thinking about it yet it had just happened.

"What the fuck just happened ?!" She murmured softly as she shook your shoulders, now clearly showing her psychological state which was not at its best.

"With this particular Jungkook, it seems we will live to see many unexpected things. God may be with us, I seriously don't know what else to say," You told her before taking her in your arms to reassure her because you could see when your friend was on the verge of a panic attack.

You and Jungkook had around ten minutes that you had taken your leave and Seon was alone in the kitchen, having just finished washing the dishes.

She wiped her hands on the small cloth before letting a breath escape from her lips, her mind still wandering around the events that happened before.

For some reason, the touch from Jimin's lips to hers had yet to go away with the whisper of apology he uttered to her after he broke the kiss, knowing full well that she was forced to do so.
