ABUJA,NIGERIA

Faint chirping of birds and golden rays of sunshine casted a dazzling hue across the morning sky. Slowly, she opened her eyes and the sunlight coming through the window reflected on her face making her to squint her eyes.

She lazily got off the bed, then sauntered to the en-suite to take her bath. She stripped off her clothing, then got into the bathtub. She had a steamy bath which helped her to relax her aching muscles before coming out of the en-suite.

She went into her closet and oiled her body, then got dressed into a loose jeans and white dress shirt, then enshrouded her head with a white and a pinch of blue vintage scarf before pinning a white pearl earring on her ear, which completed her look.

She descended from the stairs and entered into the dining room. It was empty which meant that everybody had gone to work and school. She sat down on her usual sit, then picked a plate serving herself a little plantain and scrambled egg.

Being done with her food, she picked the plate and took it to the kitchen. A call came through her phone and she looked at the screen to see the caller, it was Aisha trying to call her. She leaned her back on the  kitchen island before pressing the green button. "Hey, Aisha!" She beamed, smiling gracefully.

"Best friend." Aisha shouted through the phone. She moved the phone away from her ear or else Aisha would clearly make her go deaf. After all she has lost her memory. So, she would become the girl with the lost memory and deaf ears.

"How are you? And your health?" Aisha asked clattering her teeth. Probably due to the cold.

"Oh, just little headache, but nothing to complain about. " she replied scrunching her face remembering that she had to take her medicine. She had completely forgotten.

"Oh, baby. I feel so sorry for you. I feel like coming down from Scotland to take care of you. I have missed you so much and that nutcrack Raya. Its so boring here in Scotland, like I have no one to talk to or go out with. Urg!

"What of Hannan and co?" She asked of her Aunt's children. She knows that they don't get along, but she wants to see her reaction. Lol.

"Eww. Gross. How could you think of that? You know that it's impossible. Me associate myself with those motherfucking bitches. Over my dead body. " she spat. Afreen had touched the line. Hah.

Afreen bursted into a fist a peal of laughter. "Calm down, babe. I was just trying to test you and guess What, it worked." She loved annoying Aisha, she doesn't know why. But she enjoys it.

"Afreen, I can't remember you in this present days being such an annoying jerk like before. Anyways as it's said old habits never die."

"Yh, whatever. "
