39. Vanraj Misbehaves with Anupamaa

Next morning was quite unusual in the sense that he couldn't see Anupamaa waking him up and usual in the sense that he missed his alarm.
He wanted to go meet her but also wanted her to initiate a meeting with him and come out of her shell. But he didn't know how long would he be able to wait for her initiation.

The entire day passed and she didn't catch up on him. His call went unnoticed on her phone.

Missing Anupamaa badly and to get to know about her whereabouts, he called up Samar the second day but he was too preoccupied with dance academy events in Jaipur. Anuj didn't feel like bothering him. Kinjal in her pregnancy couldn't be bothered as well.

With Shah house family drama on hold, nobody felt any need to check up on Anupamaa. The good ones assuming she must be happy with Anuj while the bad ones not concerned about her well-being anyways.

Anuj still couldn't gather enough himmat to go and talk to her. And also his feelings stopping him from going over to her place.

- Main kyunn jaaun... Vo khud gyi hai na ghar chhor ke to khud hi aayegi bhi. Main ni jaa ra manaane. Aur jaaun bhi kyun... Uska farz nahi banta kya ki ek baar mujhe phone kar ke bataa de ki vo kaisi hai theek hai ya nahi, koi problem hai ya nahi. Aur bataaya bhi ni ki kis baat se naraaz hai aur kyun hai??? He called Bapuji narrating him the entire incident of how she left the note for him before going.

*Anupamaa's Rented House*

She opened the door.

He stepped in and saw some hindi saahitya book kept on table opened upside down.

- Kaisi hai meri beti.

- Mein theek hoon aap kese hein? Cream roll to nahi khaa re na bahut jaada?

- Ye kitaab padh ri thi iss time? Office nai gayi.

- Nahi baapuji vo teen din ki chutti li hai. Opphice me applicasion bhej di hei. Aur phir naya saal bhi aa ra hai na to uski bhi do din ki chutti hogi.

- Arey tujhe application bhejne ki kya jaroort hai tu to boss ke ghar me hi thi to vahi bol deti.

- Baapujii...

- Kya? Aur tu to Anuj ke pass ruki thi na..?? To yahan kya kar ri hai? Vapas kyun aayi?
