"Uh, is she for real right now?" Duke asked, concerned. He was already backing away. All eyes were on Gidget as she struggled to catch her breath. Max, Chloe and Tiberius were by her side, trying to help her. His arms crossed over his chest, Snowball was unfazed by what all was happening as he pointed out, "Nah, there's no way it's happening right now. It's probably a kick or-"

"IT'S NOT A KICK!" Gidget screamed, howling in pain. Shrieking in pain again, she looked around frantically for something to bite on. Finding it, she chomped down hard. Screeching, Tiberius shouted, "Jesus Christ Gidget! That's my leg!"

"Someone get Pops now!" Chloe ordered, taking charge of the situation. Somebody had to. Duke and Snowball were complete idiots, Max looked like he had seen a ghost and Tiberius was trapped in Gidget's jaws. Approaching Gidget, he looked down at Tiberius and muttered, "Eagle Eye, you need to leave too."

"Oh trust me, I would like to. If you could just amputate my leg, I'll be on my merry way," Tiberius snarled sarcastically. He held up his left leg, which was still trapped within Gidget's jaws. It was pretty clear to anyone that the Pomeranian wasn't letting go anytime soon. Out of options, Pops murmured, "Okay, you can stay. Puffball could use her best friend."

"And how about me? Please, I need to stay with her!" Max chimed in, snapping back into reality. The Jack Russell terrier was trembling all over with excitement and sheer terror. Shaking her head, Chloe pushed the quivering dog towards the door as she muttered, "No Max, you're too nervous and jumpy. We need to keep Gidget calm. Just wait out here. Duke, Snowball, take him."

"But I need to be with her!" Max protested, trying to see Gidget. However, Chloe was already shutting the door while Snowball pulled him away. The terrier caught one last glimpse of Gidget. She looked so scared. Staring at the closed door in silence, Max felt the same way. Shaking badly, he sat down outside of the bedroom, patiently waiting to be let in...
