"Well, that was officially the most awkward meeting ever," Chloe and Ozone commented at the exact same time. Startled, the two felines looked at each other with shocked faces. "I'm gonna have to agree with those two on this one guys," Snowball piped up, relieving the room of the awkwardness that had filled it just moments ago.
Looking around, Max suggested softly, "Maybe we should head home." Before the others could reach the window, however, Buddy suddenly announced, "Guys, before we leave, there's something you should know." Confused yet curious, the animals stayed where they were.
Biting his lip, Buddy continued, "This morning, I received a text from my sister Thelma. Her owner has moved back from Oregon and she's gonna try to visit. So if you see me talking to a female dachshund sometime soo, it's just my sister."
An uneasy silence fell over the apartment before Mel exclaimed, "You have a sister too?!"
