"Finally! Don't get me wrong Olivia, I like your grandfather but the way he's been acting recently, it's..." Leonard began but his loving girlfriend finished, "Nuts."
"You know me so well," Leonard commented. Olivia smiled at the poodle as they gave each other a kiss. A cough interrupted them. The two lovers turned to find Max and Duke looking at them in disbelief. "Uh..." both started but Duke shrugged it off. Max eventually explained, "We won't say anything now but don't come sneaking in our apartment again thinking we're not here." Both Leonard and Olivia nodded their heads in unison.
"Got you!" Pops' voice suddenly called out as the elderly basset hound burst out of the nearby closet with Pepe and Myron. "Bye!" Olivia cried, grabbing Leonard's paw and dashing out the open window. The poodle could only cry, "Pepe, why?!" Shaking his head in frustration, Pops gave chase.
"What has happened to our lives?" Duke asked. Myron only shrugged his shoulders as he and Pepe followed Pops down the fire escape.
