"Hello boredom, good to see you again," Chloe muttered under her breath. The tabby cat was alone in her apartment building. She didn't feel like eating surprisingly. There was no way she was gonna visit someone. She hadn't the slightest clue where her pink toy mouse had gone. And Pops had forbidden her from having catnip until after the kittens were born.
Just then, a kick in her stomach reminded Chloe that she wasn't completely alone. Gazing at her stomach, she mumbled, "Don't worry little ones, we'll think of something to do today. Maybe Daddy will pay a visit." Yawning loudly, Chloe murmured, "I guess I could use a cat nap." She rested her head comfortably on the edge of her bed.
Chloe hadn't even shut her green eyes when she felt another kick, this one harder than the first. Opening her mouth to speak, the gray tabby cat instead yowled in agony as she felt a sudden pain in her stomach...
