Ozone was lounging upon one of his favorite dumpsters, currently in deep thought. A lot had happened over the past week. And the events weren't necessarily great. Sure, Max and Gidget were gonna become parents soon. Everyone was happy for the pair. There was also Chloe, who was pregnant with his own kittens that he couldn't wait to see.
Then the bad things happened. Just as soon as the good news came, bad news soon followed when everyone heard of Angel's death. Despite the fact that he and Tiberius hadn't gotten along well in the past, Ozone couldn't help but feel extreme pity for the old hawk, who was now mourning and left with two sons. Three days later, Nitro's mother had been struck by a car. Ozone's friend had trouble sleeping at night after that.
Speak of the devil, here he comes, Ozone thought quietly as he watched Nitro bound over to him. His eyes, once clouded in grief for his mother, now shone with happiness as he exclaimed, "Pepper had the kittens last night! There's four of them!"
Smiling, Ozone mumbled, "Finally, some good news."
