After the pals finished the giant cake and shared a few words, they slowly departed to their homes. Max watched as Gidget headed towards the open window. However, she stopped in her tracks and stared at it. "Go talk to her while you have the chance yet," Snowball's voice suddenly whispered in his ear. Taking the rabbit's advice, Max padded over to her. Smiling proudly, Snowball glanced over at Duke and stated, "That's our boy right there."
"Hey Gidget," Max piped up, sitting down next to her. Looking over at Max, Gidget replied, "Hey Max." She stopped, a sad look glistening in her blue eyes. Not wanting his girlfriend to be depressed before she left for the Bahamas, Max kissed her cheek. Gidget's tail wagged slightly.
"Young love..." Snowball muttered before heading home.
