Padding down the sidewalk, Chloe was just returning from Pops' place. She had given the elderly basset hound some tips on how to catch Olivia and Leonard. The tabby had also made blueprints for several traps for the young lovers. Now late at night, she was on her way home when she caught the most wonderful smell. "Pizza..." she mumbled, entranced as she followed her nose.
Finding a slice out in the open of a dark alley, Chloe pounced on it hungrily without a second thought. She soon realized her mistake when two very large Doberman leapt out of nowhere. Yowling, the tabby nearly jumped out of her skin. Frightened, she ran for a nearby dumpster, trying to squeeze herself underneath when she heard the dogs barking louder, along with a bunch of hissing. Still scared for her life, Chloe closed her green eyes tight until the barking faded away and a soft voice spoke softly, "It's okay Chloe, you can come out."
Recognizing the voice immediately, Chloe crept out and turned around to find Ozone. His big green eyes shone brightly in the night. Not bothering to take notice if anyone was watching or not, the gray tabby rushed forward and gave the hairless cat a big hug. Startled at first, Ozone returned the embrace, whispering softly, "They'll never hurt you again, I promise."
