"I missed you so much Gidget," Max yipped like a puppy, his tail wagging nonstop. He kissed Gidget lovingly. Smiling, Gidget nuzzled the terrier's face as she explained, "I am so sorry, I was here yesterday. But I was at the vet's." Just then, her blue eyes lit up as she challenged, "You'll never guess what the vet found out!"
"What?" Duke asked from the kitchen. Max and Gidget slowly looked over at the large canine. "I'll just continue eating my breakfast," Duke mumbled, feeling uncomfortable.
"What the vet find out?" Max asked Gidget, a little nervous yet curious at the same time. Placing her paw on top of his, Gidget replied happily, "We're gonna be parents!" In the kitchen, Duke stopped what he was doing and stared at his brother and his girlfriend in shock, almost choking on his food.
