Alexa's POV

"Percy?" I called, watching him walk towards the borderline of our small camp set-up.

He didn't stop, didn't pause.

I furrowed my eyebrows. He was so difficult to read lately. I wondered what was going on with him.

I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his middle and resting my head on the back of his neck. "Are you okay?" I asked gently.

He started to shake, and I realized that he was sobbing.

I turned him around and lifted his chin so he'd look me in the eyes. "Listen, Salty, everything's going to be alright. I'm here for you. Okay?"

Percy wiped a few tears away. "Salty?" he asked with a teary smile.

"You know, I figured you'd need a nickname so I can call you Perseus Bellerophon Jackson when I'm mad at you," I smirked.

His eyes widened. "How do you know my middle name?" he demanded.

"Does it matter?" I smirked, giving him a quick kiss.

He stopped arguing pretty quickly.

After a moment, he seemed to have an idea. "Do you know where Robin is?" he asked me suddenly.

I frowned. "I call her," I said.

Instead of shouting for her, I pulled a leafy-green dog whistle from my pocket and blew into it.

Within moments, Robin was by my side, wincing at the noise. "You really don't need to do that," she said glaringly.

"Sorry!" I said insincerely.

"Meanie," she said. "So, why did you call me?" she asked impatiently.

I turned to Percy, frowning. "Why did we call her?" I asked him.

He smiled grimly. "Robin, I need you to be my messenger. Kind of like... a demigod, female, version of Hermes."

I didn't know who this description might offend more; Robin or Hermes.

She frowned for a minute. "Okay..." she said slowly. "What messages do you need delivered?"

Percy took a deep breath. "OKay, right. So, firstly, tell Brok that if he flirts with Annabeth again, I will punch him in his sorry face -" I mentally frowned. Why did it matter to him? He didn't... he didn't still like Blondie, did he? No. I was being stupid. He was just sick of Brok's obvious and ridiculous attempts at flirting.

In fact, as I scanned our Mini-camp, I saw Brok talking to Annabeth. I focused my hearing on their conversation.

"Hey baby," Brok said to Annabeth, smirking in an over-confident way.

"What do you want, Brok?" Annabeth said angrily.

"Ohh, feisty," Brok laughed. "You know, if I could re-arrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together," Brok said, wiggling his eyebrows in a ridiculous way.

Annabeth forced a smile. "Oh, there's no need for that, because N and O are already together." She tossed her long blonde hair over her shoulder and began to walk off.

Brok hurried to catch up. "Do you believe in love at first sight, or so you want me to walk by again?"

Annabeth turned to face him. "Okay. But this time, don't stop walking."

Brok huffed and seemed to give up.

I focused my attention back on Percy, who was still talking to Robin.
