Chapter 3-Start Of New Friendships

So first period went by quickly. Then I had science class. Science was my worst subject ever. Ok so we were assigned seats. And beside me was this guy named Jake. So class started and we had to do some experiment with our lab partners. I walked over to grab a test tube and some dude took it out my hands.
"Um hi you do know that was in my hand?.." I said
"Yeah I do ... Your point?"he said.
"You can't just do that? Can I have it back?" I asked .
"Ok calm down take it back." He said.
So after science had ended I sat down .. Ate a sandwich and was a loner. But then Jessica walked by.
"Hey alex, why are you sitting alone?"
"Umm I-"
"I was just about to walk over to my friends , wanna eat lunch with us" she asked.
Well who would pass that up.
"Umm ok yeah sure" I replied.
"Hey guys so this is Alex, she's pretty cool" Jess said. They were all so nice . I so didn't picture it to happen this way.
"Alex this is Jake."
"Yeah we've met, we're lab partners.."
"Oh ok well then Umm this dude over here is Jaden, that's Ashley and that's Katie."
They were all really welcoming ... Surprisingly. Then this other guy came walking towards us.
"Oh hey Alex this is Tyler."
"Oh yeah I've actually uhh sort of spoke to Alex before she's Umm really interesting .." Things got a little awkward.
"Hey so Umm Chase told me to invite you guys to his party and Alex you're going!" Jessica said. The bell rang. Everyone started walking to their classes.
"Hey , Umm Alex since we're I guess friends now, we should put that crap behind and start new."
"Look Tyler ... Jessica's my friend but that doesn't really mean we have to be friends cause ... I think my mind would just explode.." I replied .
He laughed. "Umm yeah never mind I guess we could stay as acquaintances, gotta run to class." Tyler said.
Almost every girl at my school likes Tyler Vine. I really don't understand. He's just a person.
