Christmas is coming

I got back from the fair. I still obviously like him but he keeps on pressing my buttons by annoying me by flirting with my friend. They arrived back. Lauren went straight to bed because she was tired. I went outside to get something from my car and Tyler was getting the mail. He had a box with him.
"Oh hey can you give this dress to Lauren ... I want her to wear it on our date tomorrow." Tyler said.
"Yeah you've mentioned it before." I said.
"It could of been you going to the dinner but ... You blew your chances." Tyler said.
"Yeah i probably wouldn't have wanted to go on that date with you anyways." I said then turned around to walk to my door.
"But what? You would of wanted to go with jaden?" Tyler asked. That was pretty random. I walked back to him.
"Why would I wanna go with him?" I asked.
"I don't know maybe .. Because you guys were pretty comfortable at the fair . Hugging . And laughing ." Tyler said. He seemed like he was a little bothered by that. I started smiling.
"What..?" He asked.
"Are you jealous or something ? .. Why do you care?" I asked.
"I don't ... He's my friend so I was just curious." Tyler said.
"K great I hope you have a great date with Lauren tomorrow." I said.
"Oh .. I think you're the one who's jealous .." Tyler said.
"I'm not ..." I said. I left.
*morning **
So I gave Lauren the box with the dress inside. She was at the dinner table drinking coffee.
"Hey.. Umm Tyler wanted to give you this dress .." I said. She was really happy.
"Hey !! Christmas is in like 2 weeks." Lauren said.  I totally forgot!
"I need to get you a gift before you leave !!" I said. She laughed. She got a text.
"Tyler wants me to meet him at this restaurant called Little Crembulé at 7pm!" Lauren said. He's obviously trying to pull something. That's the place we were gonna go until .. That whole situation happened between me and Tyler.
"Do you know where that is?" She asked.
"... Yeah ! It's some fancy place .I know exactly where it is.. Hey how about I drive you!" I said. She thanked and hugged me. I don't know if it's dumb of me to not even do anything about her liking him because .. I shouldn't be watching my friend go out liking a guy I still like. We drove to the restaurant. He was waiting outside the restaurant in a tux. She walked out and he hugged her and kIssed her .Her back was towards me and he saw me as he hugged her. He raised his brow at me. I drove away. As I got back home all I could think about was their date. I went to the store to do some early Christmas shopping. I saw Jess.
"What's up ? Haven't seen you in ages!" I said.
"You're Christmas shopping too!!! Wait.. You didn't buy my gift yet did u ?" Jess asked. I laughed and shook my head.
"Well I've got a ton of stuff to buy! Let's shop together !" Jess said. So we shopped. I bought 5 stuff so far. Tie Christmas joy is so happy. I got back home. It was 10pm. Lauren and Tyler weren't back yet. 30 min after .. They did. I was peaking through the window. She got back inside.
"Oh hey!!!" I said trying to be all happy.
"I had a great time!! I'll tell you about it after I change and take my makeup off which might take 20 minutes ." Lauren said then went upstairs. The doorbell rang. I opened it.
"Hey Lauren you forgot your- oh hi Alex " Tyler said. Of course !
"well .. Can you give Lauren back her purse." Tyler asked.
"Yeah sure!" I said annoyed. I was looking at his outfit.
"Checking me out I see ?" He asked.
"No! you can go now .." I said. He left. So I went upstairs and Lauren told me all about the date. She seemed to really like him.
"And yeah once I stepped out of the car .. He just looked absolutely hot ! The food was great too." Lauren said.
"Oh so umm .. Do you like him?" I asked. She smiled.
"Well .. Yeah I do! But ... I live so far and .. I don't know if we'd ever work out but i really like him!" Lauren said. I nodded.
"Man .. I wish I could stay for Christmas ! " lauren said.
"Me too." I replied.
"Oh hey do you mind if I hang out with my friend who lives here in New York tomorrow? Lauren asked me.
"No not at all! You're only here for a little while so why not." I said. I went to bed.
**next morning***
I came downstairs. I guess lauren already left. I went to the grocery store. I saw Reece.... One of Tyler's friends.
"Reece ?" I asked.
"Oh hey Alex.. What's up?" He asked.
"Hey umm ... I heard you used to help your uncle back in high school at his mechanic place ... I kinda needa change a tire would you wanna help?" I asked.
"Yeah sure ! What time ?" Reece asked.
"Umm maybe 3?" I said. I left after. I got home. Reece came later.
"So you want me to change all the tires?" Reece asked.
"Only the two on the left side... I accidentally ran over something." I said. I was waiting outside with him. I sat on my steps. Tyler was walking and saw me outside.
"Wait, Reece ? Hey man what are you doing here?" Tyler asked.
"Oh hey ! I'm uhh changing Alex's tires but now I'm done .. I'll see you guys later ." Reece said.
"Thanks Reece." I said.Tyler walked over to me.
"Is Lauren here?" Tyler asked.
"No. She's hanging out with her friend." I replied then just went on my phone. Tyler sat next to me.
"What?.." I asked.
"Why didn't you ask me to help you ? You know I worked at a mechanic place in highschool for one summer ." Tyler said to me. I rolled my eyes.
"Maybe because i don't want your help?" I said. He laughed.
"Alright.. Well when Lauren gets back , tell her I wanna go on a date-" Tyler said.
"I know you're just trying to annoy me." I said . He laughed.
" annoy you? How's that? I mean.. You don't like me anymore so .. It shouldn't affect you" He asked.
"You know what, you're right ..!" I said.
"Wait.. So you actually don't like me anymore.." Tyler asked. I nodded.
"Anyways I'm gonna go in my house now.... And you can leave." I said.
**4 days later**
So Lauren was leaving today. It was Christmas Eve.
"Man I can't believe Today's my last day here!!" Lauren said.
"I know but,, we're gonna go to Jess's place to celebrate some early Christmas." I said. It was 7pm. A bunch of my friends were chilling at Jess's house and talked. We planned to have Christmas Eve at Jess's house for a long time. Some of us put presents at her house since September.There were some presents under the tree. I put mine under but we didn't put who it was from just to make it fun. Tyler kept hugging Lauren. It was kind of weird to watch. Once it was 9 pm I drove her to the airport . We left the house and Tyler came running giving her a present.
"Before you leave... I wanted to give you this... I'll miss you!" Tyler said hugging her. I rolled my eyes. We got in the car. I drove back to Jess's house.
Almost everyone was gone.
"Hey Alex! There's a gift for you there." Jess said. I got back home. I opened the present in the car. There was a letter attached.
Inside the box was a necklace with my name on it. I'm guessing Jess got me it since the jewels were actually nice.
**next day**
So today was actually Christmas . Many of my friends were spending it with their families.my mom didn't come back from her road trip thing yet so I was home all alone. It was snowing so Christmas looked even prettier. Houses were decorated with lights and everything seemed so happy. It was 7pm I made some hot chocolate and watched a Christmas movie. The door rang. My mom was finally home . Then I opened the door and it wasn't her.
"Hey do you have any extra milk?" Tyler asked as he walked in my house.
"Why?" I asked.
"Come on Alex.. It's Christmas ! How about you don't hate me for one day?" He said. He looked at my neck.
"Why are you starting at my neck." I asked.
"The necklace.. It  looks nice on you." Tyler said smiling.
"Oh that.." I said.
"Who'd you get it from?"Tyler asked.
"I'm actually not sure. There wasn't a name on there ." I replied. I got him the milk.
"You doing anything tonight? I mean .. It's Christmas.." Tyler said.
"Yeah I'll probably just take a bath and sleep." I replied. He laughed smiling at me.
"Would you wanna watch a movie at my house ? I'm honestly real bored just having no one to talk to." Tyler said. I thought about it. But he literally went out with my friend and now he thinks now that she's gone he can just get back to me?
"Yeah I don't think so." I said.
"Why not?" Tyler responded .
"You literally went out with my friend.. Don't expect me to just get with you now." I said.
"What-, we're gonna watch a movie as .. Friends ..." Tyler said.
"Alright fine." I said . I went over to his house. The house was nicely decorated.
