Tyler called my name as I was down the stairs . He caught up. It was kinda awkward .
"..... Umm so I guess by now you saw Stella's .. I mean mine and Stella's baby was born today.." Tyler said.
"..yeah congratulations..." I said trying to be mature but I was still bothered.
"Umm thanks ... Look I just wanna say-" Tyler said. But I cut him off.
"No you don't have to say anything . I'm glad your baby looks healthy and you and Stella and the baby are a beautiful family.." I said. Oh no. That word triggered me. Me and Tyler always talked about a family and were exited until our unfaithful and messed up marriage.
Tyler could kinda tell I was bothered by something. He knew exactly actually.
"... So umm what's the baby's name." I asked.
"... We named her Alex." Tyler said. What the fuck??? I pushed him.
"I'm kidding!!! I would never.... " Tyler said. I rolled my eyes .
"Not that your name is bad!!! But anyways we named her violetta." Tyler said. It made me remember. That was one of the names me and Tyler thought of when we were thinking of naming a kid we'd have together . I stared at Tyler dead in the eye.
"... What?" Tyler asked me.
".... That was the name we said we'd name a child we'd ever have together . Were not together now but still! That was the name I came up with!" I said .
"... Shit.... I knew it sounded familiar." Tyler said.
"..... Okay great.... A baby that was made behind my back being named something I would have named my child if I had one..... You are actually a terrible person." I said to Tyler as I was leaving.
"Wait Alex! I forgot !!!" Tyler said. I was kind of getting emotional. That's a little fucked up of him to do. Like come on!!!! It's one thing to have a baby behind my back but then name it something we were gonna name ours if we had one prior to divorce.
"We'll change the baby's name!!" Tyler said.
".... Yeah you will." I said.
"..... Actually .... We won't! .... I hate when you give so much attitude." Tyler said to me.
".... Okay whatever then. You are probably the worst human being I've ever known." I said.
"Alex shut up. I'm not . " Tyler said.
"Whatever ... I honestly feel borderline betrayed by you and ... I really don't wanna speak to you ever ! Like really . I don't even wanna see you when I visit Jadens." I said.
".... Please I don't either ." Tyler said.
I kinda just looked at him.
"You really don't get it. I'm so serious." I said.
"Okay yeah whatever .." Tyler said and went back up to the hospital room.
