I didnt see that coming

**month later ***
So today Jake and kourtney moved into their new house. My friends were growing up so fast! I walked into the kitchen and Tyler was on their computer.
"Whatcha .. Whatcha looking at?" I asked.
"Just looking at blueprints of our new house our house person sent me. " Tyler replied.
"Oh .. In Florida ?" I asked.
"Yeah .. Gianna really wanted to .. We're moving there in 5 days ..." Tyler replied. That was fast.
"Oh ..." I said then left.
**couple days later**
So Tyler and Gianna already had a bunch of luggage in their car ready for the next day. Jake threw a party for them because they were gonna leave the next day. I figured maybe today when I say bye ... I might as well tell him how I'm happy for him now .. I'm kinda sad he's moving out all the way there but .. I guess life happens on its own. So the Party happened. We all told weird memories we had and shit. I left the party kinda early. I was .. Kind of filled with emotions and shit. I went to the street to get in my car then I heard running.
"Hey! I just wanted to give you your DVDs you let me borrow.." Tyler said.
"Oh Yeah these ! Thanks ..." I replied.
"Yeah the ones we watched together in high school .. I know how much you liked these movies ... So yeah .." Tyler said.
"Well I guess I should properly say bye to you since you're leaving tomorrow!" I said.
"Me too .." Tyler said.
"Well .. First time I met you ... I knew I met a great person . We have many many .. Great memories along with some of our casual insults we give each other .. But Alex ... I'm gonna miss you." Tyler said. I laughed with tears of joy.
"Haha I appreciate that laugh !" Tyler said.
"Haha! Well .. First time I met you ... You were annoying and still to this day ! But ... You're genuinely someone i liked talking to. And ... I'm happy you found someone who makes you smile and... " I said then didn't finish .
"What... ?" Tyler asked softly.
"Umm ... I just wanna say.. There's no one as funny and interesting and weird like you." I said.
"Thank you.. " Tyler replied. He then walked off.
"Hey Tyler .." I said.
"Yeah what's up?" He said.
"I just wanted to say .. I'm sad someone who's not me will get to spend the rest of their life with you ." I said.
"... What did you just say ...?" Tyler asked.
"Hope you enjoy Florida.." I said then left.

Tyler walked back in the house. He went into the kitchen.
"Hey man where'd you go?"Jake asked. They were the only ones in the kitchen.
"Yo dude what happened?" Jake asked.
"Shit just happened .... Alex basically admitted she still likes me .." Tyler said.
"Oh shit ...." Jake said. Tyler walked out the door.
"Tyler!!!! Dude !! Come back !!" Jake yelled .

So after I basically confessed I still had feelings for Tyler ... He didn't say much. I walked out my car and his car came 3 seconds after . He got out .
"What are you doing here .." I asked.
"I guess since we're admitting stuff .. I might as well say something." Tyler said. I was confused.
"To be honest... I never stopped loving you .. I tried to get over you and I thought I did ." Tyler said. Wow ...I did not see that coming !
"What do you mean ?.." I asked.
"Well.. When I saw you after a while ...
I just .. Fell for you again and couldn't get over how much I missed you."Tyler said.
"Umm... Aren't you like married ?" I asked.
"Haha yeah I am . But ... Now that we're confessing stuff ... I wanna let you know everything." Tyler said. I was kinda suprised by everything. I didn't know if he was just saying that cause he felt bad for me maybe ..?
"You know when you said you were moving to L.A?I never wanted you to leave ." Tyler said.
"And .. When i saw you at the wedding when you came to visit ..I thought to myself .... I can't believe I let the most amazing beautiful girl out of my life and I won't ever get to be with her ." Tyler said. I looked away.
"I was literally standing at the front of my own wedding looking at you in the audience thinking ... What am I doing up here ? The girl I like isn't walking on the aisle." Tyler said.
"Look.. I never thought this would happen.. I just thought maybe since I won't ever see you again I would tell you how I still .. Like you . I had no idea you liked me still." I replied.
"Yeah me neither." Tyler said.
" look i don't want to be a reason for someone else's divorce or breakup .." I said. Even though I really like him.
"I get it. I love Gianna but ... I think there's someone Ive always loved even more." Tyler said. I smiled back. He then kissed me.
"Look .. I'll take care of it." Tyler said then walked back in his car.
"By the way Brooks!" Tyler yelled from the car.
"Yeah ?" I asked.
"Can't believe I missed out on really great kissing from you all this time!" Tyler said. I laughed then went inside my house. Well ... Shit just striked. A bunch of things were going through my mind. I didn't know what to think.

Tyler walked back to the house . He pulled Gianna aside.
"Hey .. Can I talk to you?" Tyler asked.
"Yeah what?" Gianna responded.
"Well can I talk to you alone .. Without all these people here .." Tyler said.
"No .. Just tell me .. It's fine ." Gianna said.
"... Alright then ..... I think In life .. Some people have time to think. And then they realize they made a mistake .. And then ... You know ... Some people aren't meant to be." Tyler said. Gianna stood up.
"Are you saying you don't like me anymore !!!?" Gianna yelled. Everyone else got a little awkward.
"Thank gosh!" Jess whispered.
"It's only been a couple of months and now you want to divorce me?!? " Gianna said.
"Look I'm sorry ! It's just that ...I think we should just remain friends." Tyler said. Gianna crossed her arms.
"I'm not about that "let's stay friends" bullshit!" Gianna said. Gianna then flipped a chair across the room.
"I just don't understand!! I'm perfect! How could you want to break up with me?!?" Gianna said crying. Tyler tried to comfort her by hugging her.

So ... I have no idea what's happening now. It's not that easy to end a marriage. I never intended to get in between two people. A couple minutes later.
**next day***
So tyler never told me anything about whether he was leaving or not. I guess he probably did since I didn't hear from him. I went to the beach to just relax by these rocks. Then an hour later I heard a voice .
"Hey." Tyler said. I turned around and got up.
"Oh hi!..." I replied.
"So., you're probably wondering what happened.." Tyler said. I nodded.
"Well... I had a long talk with her. I explained that it was a big mistake marrying her because I .. Don't love her as much as someone else." Tyler said.
"Well .. What's gonna happen with her ... I feel like a bitch that you're leaving her for me." I said.
"Nah it's alright.. She got mad then said she's gonna hook up with one of my friends and other shit. Then tried making me feel bad for her and .. She's just not the one for me." Tyler said. We looked at the sunset.
"So.. All this time you still actually liked me?" Tyler said.
"Haha shut up! You did as well!" I replied. He laughed.
"But yeah .. I fell for you the first time I saw you Brooks." Tyler said.
"Alright maybe not the first time I saw you ... But .. I knew there was something about you that made me like you a lot ." I replied. He smiled.
"The sunsets beautiful..." I said.
"Just like you." Tyler said quietly.
"Haha what?" I asked.
"Nothin nothin ..." Tyler said smiling. We watched it set.
"Hey so what are you doing tomorrow?" Tyler asked.
"Oh I'm probably doing nothing why?" I asked.
"Would you wanna do something with me?" Tyler asked.
"Maybe ... But what?" I asked.
"You'll find out." Tyler said then left. I guess i have plans now? I got back home. I saw Gianna. I walked out my car and accidentally made eye contact with her. She gave me a rude look. She walked over to me. I stared at her hand.
"What?" She asked.
"Well.. You walked over to me...?" I said.
"Me and Tyler actually ... Are getting ready to Leave for Florida now." Gianna said. This was a lie.
"Thought you guys aren't together?" I asked.
"Great .. You know? Well .. He apparently doesn't like me anymore .. Or I don't know ! There's probably this other annoying girl he likes and .." Gianna said. I walked slowly to my steps.
"Well yeah .. I'm leaving town with Ryan." Gianna said. This was a little random. I went in my house. My mom was in the kitchen.
"So I heard ..Gianna and tyler aren't together anymore?" She said.
"Yeah...." I replied. She looked kind of suspicious of me. Even though I technically didn't try to break their marriage up.
"Alright well I'm gonna go upstairs." I said then left.
