Seeing he was making jokes .. He obviously doesn't give a shit about how fucked up he was in the relationship.Jaden invited me to go to this bbq at this park that a lot of my friends were going to. I arrived there. I saw Tyler from a distance.
I walked over to jaden.
"... You didn't tell me you were inviting Tyler !" I said to jaden.
"Huh? Him and I are friends ... I thought you knew he'd obviously be here .." Jaden said.
I kinda rolled my eyes as I was looking at the parking lot deciding whether to leave.
".. Hey I'm sorry... I should have told you he was coming . But Tyler told me you guys were on good terms... And that you two are mature enough to be at the same place ." Jaden said. Ugh what bullshit.
"..... That's some bullshit..him and I are not even on good terms. But ugh I just won't go near him." I said . The food was pretty good. Music was playing. I sat at one of the pic nic tables with Jess and jaden.
.Tyler walked over to us.
"Hey man the hamburgers were good." Tyler said to Jaden.
"Thanks man," Jaden said. I looked away, not trying to make eye contact with tyler.
"Anyways yeah I'll see you guys tomorrow for kourtneys birthday, I'm gonna finish my convo over there. See ya Jaden, Jess, Bryce , al- ..... Bye " Tyler said as he cut my name off. What a douche. How mature of him.
He left.
"Why didn't he say your name?.." Jess said.
"... Cause he's a douche." I said.
"You told me the other day you guys divorced... Do u guys hate eachother ?" Jess asked.
"Something like that.." I said. So the bbq ended . People were throwing their plates out. Jess left the park. I kinda was leaving later because I was busy taking pictures. I walked back to the parking lot. Tyler was talking to our old friend Callum. Last time he saw us was when we had our wedding dinner.
He saw me and called me over. But I was guessing he didn't know me and Tyler got a divorce .
"Hey Callum .." I said. Tyler kinda itched his head knowing this was gonna be awkward because Callum still thought we were married.
"Hey haven't spoken to the happy couple in a while !" Callum said. The cringe... We weren't a couple.
"Yeah umm... We're no longer married .." I said.
"What?.. Oh I'm sorry." Callum said.
"Nah man it's cool. Plus... I'm just happy for myself." Tyler said. Ugh what an annoying jerk.
"Well I gotta go . Bye Callum." I said. Totally ignoring tyler .
