So .. Even though tyler and me never had an affair.. I just don't want anyone to see him and me do anything. Might make my friends think stuff. He texted me. I left the house at around 5pm just wearing shorts and a t shirt.
"Hop in." He said. I got in.The breeze was so nice. During the ride we were talking.
"Alright ... Let's see if you know me well." Tyler said. I nodded.
"What.. Is my favourite Color?" He asked. I literally guessed blue because that seems to be everyone's.
"Yeah it's actually turquoise.." Tyler said.
"Haha shut up ! I was basically close!" I said laughing . He laughed.
"So what exactly are we doing?" I asked. He kept driving. We got to this park with a beach. He walked out the car. Thought he was gonna bring stuff but I guess we're just walking around? I got out the car as well and walked with him. We got near this blanket with candles around it and a basket with food.
"Sit here." Tyler said.
"Wait... This is where were sitting? You did all this?" I asked. He laughed.
"Yeah .. Yeah I did." Tyler said. I sat down. We talked and ate.
"Well I didn't know you could cook ..!" I said .
"Yeah well If I'm gonna be honest... Jake made half of this ." Tyler said.
"Alright that makes more sense !" I said.
"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" Tyler said laughing.
"Nothin .. Nothin." I said. He shook his head and smiled. One hour passed by.and we ended up driving back home. We got to my driveway.
"So... What is this? " Tyler asked.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Did we just have a date?" Tyler said.
"I don't know ? You tell me." I said. He smiled with a bit of confusion.
"Thanks for this da- um..." I said.
"Yeah yeah go on ... You were saying date weren't you?.." Tyler said Tryna shit with me.
"Yeah ... " I said smiling back. He smiled back leaning in slowly. I turned and opened the door.
"Haha , what? I don't get a kiss?" Tyler asked.
"I guess I could give you one but ... Maybe I don't wanna." I said Tryna mess with him.
"Haha.. Alright then..." He said . I could tell he was a little pissed off by that. I laughed then kissed him when he was looking down not expecting it.
"Oh ...hey thanks." Tyler said.
"I'll see you around." I said smiling then left. Well I'd say I had a great time. I guess now that I experience this sort of side of Tyler ... I actually like him way more than I thought. He's annoying and irritating at times but .. That's what kind of draws me to him. Yeah we all know he's hot and stuff but .. He's actually pretty sweet and it's sad that it took this long for me to actually get to this point with him. I walked in my house and my mom was there.
"Oh ... Hey mom ..." I said.
"Who was that?" She said. I didn't wanna tell her it was Tyler.
"Oh pshhh don't act like you don't know." I said. I tried making it seem like she did know even though she didn't.
"But I don't know-" she said.
"Yeah right I'm sure mom ..!" I said then went upstairs. As I mentioned before. I don't want people to know just yet because .. They're gonna think I'm some home wrecker but that's not the case. I didn't exactly come between a marriage. Tyler didn't cheat on her. I took a bath then went on my phone. After that I looked out my window. I think Gianna was just packing her stuff in her car. I could kind of hear them talking.I walked downstairs and my mom sent me to buy some more butter. I walked out the door and Gianna left. Tyler was outside then ran over to me.
"Oh hey ..." I said.
"Hey ... What's up ?" Tyler asked as he watched Gianna's car leave.
"Umm .. Just getting some stuff from the grocery store." I replied.
"You okay?" He asked.
"Yeah ... Why wouldn't I?" I said.
"Oh Umm never mind well.. I guess I'll see you around.." Tyler replied then left. So I got in the car. Got the stuff and then went back home. Jess was at my house.
"Hey what are you doing here ?" I asked.
"Hi to you too...!" She said.
"Haha hi!!!!! But hey I haven't spoken to you for 2 weeks." I said.
"Yeah I've been super busy finding a new house with bryce !!! But hey did you hear that Tyler and Gianna aren't together ?" Jess asked. I was beginning to get paranoid about stuff.
"Yeah I heard." I said.
"Hey I gotta go but I wanted to say hi!" Jess said.
"Yeah ! It's all good!" I said then she left. It seems like everyone keeps bringing up Tyler. It's like they think I did something ... Or I'm just thinking of the worst situation possible. I went over to jakes house.
"Hey !" I said then walked in.
"What's up ?" He asked.
"I don't know ... I'm kinda bored and just wanted to say hi to a friend ..." I said.
"Oh alright ..." Jake replied kinda confused.
"So where's kourtney?" I asked.
"Oh you wanted to talk to her?..." Jake asked. I nodded. He laughed.
"Oh well she left 5 minutes ago to buy some groceries but I can talk!!! Just like old times !" Jake said. So I sat on the couch.
"So hey did you hear about tyler and Gianna?" Jake asked. I scratched my head.
"Yeah ... I did.. 3 people asked me about it ... And I don't know why." I said.
"Did you know he still likes you?" Jake asked. I didn't know whether to lie or not. But the bigger question was , how did he know ?
"Umm yeah .. How did you know?" I said.
"He literally told me the day before he wanted to break up with Gianna and he's talked about you a lot before." Jake said.
"Oh that's interesting..... Well I gotta go." I said then got up.
"Ok ?..." Jake said. I left. I walked my neighbours dog outside. It was 7pm. Tyler was walking on the sidewalk.
"Brooks?" He asked.
"Hey! I'm walking this dog around." I said.
"Mind if I walk with you guys around?" Tyler asked.
"Yeah I mind..." I replied joking. We walked around for at least 35 min and talked at the sand time.
"Hey can I walk the dog for a couple of minutes now?" Tyler asked. I handed him the leash.
"So Brooks .. How ya doing?" He asked.
"Haha I'm good ...." I said.
Did you hear that there's gonna be some scary Halloween thing opening up with people running at you?" Tyler asked.
"Oh yeah! I think my cousin is gonna work there helping calm the people who freak out .. Like maybe you." I sAid.
"Those things don't scare me ..." Tyler said.
"Yeah I'm sure ! I replied. I looked at my phone.
"Oh hey I gotta get back to my neighbours house! Apparently their dog needs to take his meds or something." I said as I took the Leash.
"Oh yeah I totally forgot !" Tyler said. I turned around.
"You're definitely not the most ugly girl I've layed eyes on! You're the prettiest!" Tyler said. I was confused.
"What ?.." I asked.
"You don't remember do you? Haha Umm remember that time we went at each other and I said you were ugly yeah I was lying of course.." Tyler said then laughed.
"Hey .. Why are you suddenly telling me I'm "pretty" and all this?" I asked.
"Cause. I think it's only fair and right to finally let you know my real thoughts about you. I've teased you and said you were ugly but .. I hope you know I was just messin around and Alex I think you're seriously the most gorgeous girl I've met." Tyler said. I smiled back.
"Thanks.. I don't normally hear this from someone randomly. You're pretty hot yourself. But I gotta run.." I said then left. It's so weird when you finally get to really see a different side of someone you've never seen. I'm happy though. I got to my neighbours and dropped off the dog . Then went into my house and went to bed.
