Picnic

I got back home. Took a breather. Sat near my window just looking at the sky. I felt like.. Things were just not right at the moment. I don't know why I like tyler so much ? But I guess I just really like him as a person. Doesn't feel to good when people drift. As I said before.. That's just life. He clearly clearly hates me.. As you guys probably could tell.. And maybe I know for sure some things aren't meant to be. Now you might be wondering ?.. Why don't you just go out with ashton. Well that's a little complicating. Maybe it will happen. But for now.. I'm gonna continue what we have.
**next day**
A bunch of me and my friends went to this park to kind of have this picnic. Jaden brought a portable bbq. I drove to the park myself. I saw Bryce and Jess sitting but didn't wanna bother them while they were having a conversation. I walked over to jaden.
"Hey. You chose the perfect day!" I said. He smiled.
"You know.. I check the weather on my phone so.." Jaden said. We both laughed. He was trying to make the fire. I looked around and saw more of my friends coming. Jake and kourtney came. I also saw Katie and Ashley. I also saw tyler and Olivia walking together. I tried not to stare at them. All of my friends had their own Mats they shared with their boy friends or husbands whatever you wanna call it but we were somewhere near eachother. I grabbed a drink and was gonna walk to jake and kourtney. Then Olivia stopped me.
"Alex!come sit here!" Olivia said. I didn't wanna sit here with her and her fiancé . Jaden was sitting with them.
"I never knew you guys were highschool friends! That's super cool!" Olivia said. I fake smiled. I know.. Pretty bitchy. But I was just pissed that she made me sit and talk with them.
"Yeah I met tyler like middle school and Alex in highschool." Jaden said to Olivia.
"Hey.. What were your ex girlfriends like haha!?" Olivia asked tyler.
"What? I ... I really only had a couple .... And some relationships were complicated." Tyler said. I rolled my eyes.
"Hopefully I'm your last..." Olivia said then laughed as she kissed him. I got up.
"Well Umm I'm gonna sit with jake and kourtney.. We needa talk about something we've been needing to get to." I said. Jaden looked at me weird. I left. I sat down with jake and kourtney.
I sat at this bench near the water. Jaden came by and sat next to me.
"Hey ." Jaden said.
"Do you ever just think some things can change but then realize some things will always be the way they were." I out of the blue said.
"Haha Umm..... Maybe? I just said hi." Jaden said laughing.
"But I also came by to just ask you something." Jaden said. I waited for him to ask.
"Is everything alright with you and tyler?" Jaden asked. I laughed.
"I know you think there's something wrong." I replied.
"Alex I know you .... I know You and Tyler had this point in time where you two really liked eachother." Jaden said. I laughed.
"Haha what? It's true right?" Jaden asked. I paused. 10 seconds later.
"Look i don't know what to call that but what are you getting at ?" I asked.
"Are you maybe bothered that he has a girl?" Jaden asked.
"Jaden I told you... Whatever him and I had... Was nothing serious. I'm happy for him.. " I said. Jaden laughed as if he didn't believe me.
"Okay then... But hey... Look at them.. Theyre cute right? Him moving her hair out of her face." Jaden said. I didn't say anything. I don't know exactly what Jaden was trying to do.
"Alex...... I know you.... You're not okay with tyler being with her." Jaden said. He was turning into Oprah Winfrey. Guess I had to tell someone.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"Well.. I don't like seeing you miserable. So tell me what's up?" Jaden said. I sighed.
"Well... I don't know ... I guess I still really like him... And it's weird seeing him with someone. I don't know.. I've kinda experienced that a lot since I've known tyler." I said.
"Listen.. Ever since the the day he met you I could tell right away he liked you a lot... Haha I've never seen him so crazy about someone." Jaden said.
"Haha trust me... He's crazy about Olivia" I said.
"Maybe he got the vibes from you that you don't like him? So he kinda left you behind?" Jaden said.
"Jaden what are you trying to do? He's clearly happy with her.. I don't wanna ruin things and I just needa get over him... Simple." I said. I got up.
"Alex I think you're missing out what I'm saying!" Jaden said. I just walked away. I went to my car.
