Apologizing

Next day Jaden came by my house.
"Hey... Are you okay? You left the hospital crying." Jaden said.
"Uhh yeah I'm .. Good." I replied totally lying.
"Dude tyler gets out the hospital today!" Jaden said.
"Great!!" I said .. I was really uninterested. I was still kinda not over that night. Tyler's mom was at my house. I was kinda lookin sad that day.
"Hey! You look like you've gotten your heart smashed by some asshole!" Tyler's mom said. The gag was that it was her son that made me pissed and sad. Later that day tyler came back. There was a huge surprise welcome back party for him. Many cars were parked Around here. I obviously didn't go. They were also celebrating tyler and Olivia's engagement.after everyone went home I was able to move my car. I stepped outside my house. I went to jadens house. I walked in. Olivia and tyler were there kissing. They both looked at me. Jaden came around.
"Hey." Jaden said.
"Yeah I think I'm gonna go .." I said.
"Hey wait !" Jaden said as he pulled me aside.
"What happened between you and tyler?" Jaden asked.
"I gotta go." I said then left.
**next day**
I dropped by jadens house to pick up some scripts he helped write for my dad. I walked into the living room to wait. Tyler was sitting there. I didn't wanna make things awkward after that whole incident.
I figured maybe I should be the bigger person and apologize for being rude about tyler being engaged. I walked over to him.
"Umm.." I said. He looked up.
"Hey I Umm just wanna apologize for judging you about your engagement. It was rude and ... Really arrogant of me." I said. He stood up.
".. Thanks... " Tyler said.
"Congrats by the way...I just wanted to apologize and I'm sorry I didn't even see if you were fine during the crash" I said.
"I was a bit off an ass myself.. So I wanna say sorry to you." Tyler said.
"Thanks for the apology." I said. I was waiting for jaden to Hurry up and get those papers. Tyler was actually about to leave. He left. Jaden finally came down.
"... Here are the papers and I thought you told me you saw tyler in the hospital the day he crashed?" Jaden asked. Oh great here we go again !
"Umm no I didn't see him. I visited him on like the day before he got out." I replied.
"Why though? Seems like something you wouldn't do." Jaden said.
"I didn't go because I- never mind I gotta go." I said to Jaden. I left.
