I got back home. Still find it odd how they'd ask me if I liked them to only say that they had no feelings for me. That's just a weird thing to bring out. I went to the kitchen. My mother was on the phone. She had that concerned tone mothers get when something's wrong. She hung up.
"Hey mom what's up?" I asked and ate an apple.
"Well apparently tyler had some complications about 30 minutes ago almost causing him to have a flat line." My mom said. That was pretty serious. I just feel like I shouldn't involve myself with people I don't need.
"He's alive.. A lot of his close friends and his mom just checked up on him. Hes resting now.
"That's good.." I said.
"Apparently his mom mentioned that his girlfriend went to....." My mom said then looked at me kinda awkward.
"Yeah his girlfriend Olivia probably .." I said.
"Okay I gotta get some sleep." I said. This day was just getting even more weird. I went to bed just staring at the ceiling . Thinking about how I'm wasting it. I'm 23 ... And I feel like more should be happening. Next week I went to the beach. I sat on the sand staring at the water. I heard a bunch of skateboarding on the cement.Ashton was on his skateboard then saw me. He walked over to me then sat down.
"Hey , we practically bump into eachother every day." Ashton said.
"Yeah I wonder why." I said. He lightly laughed.
"How ya been? He asked.
"I'm good ..." I replied then looked at him. The small talk was mostly what it was. This kid walked by and the strong wind caused him to drop it on me. The kid started To panic.
"..listen buddy it's okay , don't worry!!" Ashton said To the little boy.
"Here let me get some of that cone out your hair." Ashton said. As he was taking it out of my hair he looked .He started telling me these random stories.'I was listening . Then I finally looked at him while he was telling it. me. He held my jaw and wiped the ice cream off my face when he noticed it.
"Thanks.." I said. He smiled. I smiled. Back.
"You're really gorgeous." Ashton said. Umm what?!? Didn't he say he didn't like me.
"What?" I asked.
"What?- no I didn't mean to say that.. It just slipped out kinda.." Ashton said.
"It's fine.... I know you probably didn't mean it." I said. He looked in my eyes.
" it's not fair ..." Ashton said. I was confused.
"I actually like you Alex .. A lot and It's been shitty keeping that's from you." Ashton said. I looked at him and smiled.
"Why did you keep that from me?" I asked.
"Cause ... I didn't know what to do. I figure I should always tell someone something before it's too late ." Ashton said. I smiled. Later that night I was thinking about what he said. And I felt kinda bad I didn't see tyler at the hospital. The reason I didn't say anything back to Ashton was because I still liked someone else. I drove to the hospital. I walked in.
"Do you know what room tyler vine is in?" I asked. The girl told me. I walked up. I looked through the Windows. Tyler was up watching some tv while he was eating. I smiled out the room andn he was just in the room. I knocked. He said come in and had no idea it was me. I walked in.
"Alex..." He said then sat up.
"Hey.." I said.
"I haven't spoken to you for a while." Tyler said. I nodded.
"How's your back ?" I asked.
"It's good.I'm just supposed to stay couple days extra just cause but I can do pretty much anything normal." Tyler said. That was good to hear. Olivia walked in.
"Hey babe, I gotta go now and- oh hi Alex! " Olivia said. She said bye to tyler. When they hugged I looked at her hand. There was a rock aka a ring on there. It kinda crushed me.She left. I sat down. Then right away... Things got heated. Seeing him engaged made me crushed and pissed because he didn't even say anything about it.
"So did you recently find out I was in the hospital?" Tyler asked.
"No.." I said as I flipped my hair. He looked mad.
"When did you hear about it then" Tyler asked and stood up in front of me.
"The day you got into the accident." I said. He looked more mad.
"Wait ... So you waited a whole month and a half to come see me??! I was on the verge of dying? And you didn't even care ?!"Tyler asked. I started to get a little heated. I rolled my eyes.
"I'm sorry but why are you so upset with me? You come a month later just to be rude to me??!." Tyler yelled.
"Well I'm sorry I'm not perfect and make dumb decisions like any other normal person! Sorry that I would of rather been out trying to live my life!" I yelled.
"Great, anything else you wanna say?" Tyler asked.
"No why don't you tell me some stuff? Were you gonna tell me about that ring on Olivia's finger?" I asked. He rubbed his face.
"What about it?" Tyler asked.
"You've known her for only a couple of months and you're asking her to marry you!?" I asked.
"And ..?" He asked.
"It took you literally a year to just admit you really liked me but now you're able to whip out a ring to a girl you've known for so little!!!?" I yelled.
"And why do you care?" Tyler asked. I started to get in my feelings.
"Because ! I-.. " I said then he inturuppted.
"I like Olivia and she likes me! I'm glad that her and I are gonna start a life together ! Can't you just support that.Tyler said really pissed.

"What! no you do realize your last marriage ended in divorce?" I asked then obnoxiously laughed.
"You're full of shit.and its cause my dumbass left someone else and  trusted that you would be the one but clearly not ." Tyler said.
I was trying so hard not punch his face. I couldn't believe what was coming out of his mouth. Actually I could .

"Why did you even come here?to waste more of my life?youre such an asshole! I never liked you ! " Tyler said.

I didn't know why he was being such an ass!!

"That's what you think of me..?."I said. He laughed.
"I think you're a complete useless bitch. Biggest mistake to ever enter my life and you're actually so ugly!." Tyler said.  I'm sure he thought that.Yeah I'm ugly when you're the one who's said that I'm Really pretty?I was looking up trying to keep my tears in. 5 seconds later.
"Well It's great to hear I was a complete waste of time into your life." I said then a tear strolled down and I turned around to wipe it. He looked kinda in guilt of what he said. I then rushed out that room. My mind and body was just rushing with so many emotions. Honestly couldn't believe what even happened . I went there to just see tyler and catch up but it led to me realizing that apparently I was nothing to Tyler . I was tearing up as I ran down the stairs and I bumped into jaden.
"Whoah hey are you alright?" Jaden asked with his hands on the sides of my shoulders. I just tried to wipe my tears away.
"Yeh I'm good..." I said then left.
"Alex what happened !!?" Jaden yelled. I ran to my car . I sat in my car. Started to cry. I was just upset that he kept going on about how I was wasting his life.
