The Ordinary Girl

So I got my clothes packed ready to go. I left early at 5am to the airport . My mom dropped me off . I got on my plane after all that waiting. During the ride I was thinking about how weird everything was gonna be. I haven't really checked in with my dad at all so I don't really know what's going on in his life. After some stressful hours the plane finally landed. I saw my dad.
"Alex !" He said.
"Hi! " I said then hugged him. We got to his car. I put all my shit in the trunk.
"Hey alex... Sorry I won't be able to be able to talk to you a lot while you are here." My dad said.
"We're trying to get this movie done really fast.. But.. You can come and watch." My dad said. I was down. I get to meet celebrities and that's good enough for me! He had to drop me off at his house then he had to go back to set. The house was beautiful! He even had a chef.
"Hello miss.. Would you like some freshly made salmon I prepared!?" The chef asked.
"I mean.... Alright.. I'll have some ." I said then dug in. It was really good. The next day.. I got to go with my dad on set to watch the actors act. I saw Jennifer Lawrence. She looked like a goddess. She was getting her hair done.
"Hi Umm... Would you like some pizza?" I asked.
"Are you kidding me? Are you trying to make me fat?!" She asked. I hesitated.
"Cause I don't care ! Sure I'll have some!" She said then smiled. I had a great time there even if I had to get stuff for the celebrities. Me and my dad went to some cool restaurants too during the other days. I went for a walk on the Hollywood walk of fame. It's really crowded here in l.a. I actually recognized so many YouTubers and other internet stars.. I was surprised. I had like 1 more day left till I was supposed to leave. My dad and I talked and went to a really fancy restaurant. Overall it was a great night. Next morning I packed and went to the airport to catch my flight back to New York.
**next day***
So I got back home. And took a long nap because of my jet lag! We were leaving for Cuba in like a couple days and all planned to shop together for some stuff like bug spray, which I didn't understand why. After my nap I went for a run. The breeze outside was pretty Frikken nice let me tell you that! I was slowly walking and saw jess at tylers door. I could barley hear. From what I saw , it looked like she was a little mad. I slowly started walking to my house.
"Hey! Alex!" She said then jogged over to me.
"Hey I just went for a run... What are you doing here....?" I asked.
"Oh I was waiting at your door then he scared the living shit outta me." She replied.
"Okay so what did you want...?" I asked.
"Oh Umm I just wanted to know what time we should meet at the airport." She asked.
"Well apparently the flight is at 6pm so you should get there at least an hour earlier." I said. A couple days passed and the next day was the trip. I spent the night packing for the trip. So the plan was for me to pick up jess , Bryce and Jaden. We got to the plane. Tyler and them arrived as well. The plane ride was a little .. Weird. I sat next to Bryce and jess. Tyler Monica and Jake were up at the front. And Jaden Katie and Ashley got switched up to first class!!!!!!
***tyler,Jake,Monica plane tjme**
"Wait so you actually pissed in his moms garden ..?" Monica asked.
"Haha Umm yeah .. The bathroom was being used... So .. " Tyler said. They started laughing.
**alex pov**
so I fell asleep. But was half awake and could hear jess and Bryce talking.
"I'm actually glad you came." Jess said.
"That's good to hear ... At first it seemed like you were surprised to see me on the trip." Bryce said.
"Haha.. I was just in shock that alex was nice enough to bring you ! Hey she apparently told me there's three or 4 rooms so some of us have to share!" Jess said. I couldn't book more than 4 rooms. The flight was finally over! There was a driver waiting for us. We got to a hotel.
"Alright so I checked us in for 4 rooms but ... How are we gonna split them..?" I asked.
"Me and ash and Monica , Jake and tyler and Jaden , jess and Bryce ..and you can have your own." Katie suggested . That seemed alright to me but then people started arguing.
"No .. No.. How about me and Monica, then Katie Ashely and Then Jake , Bryce and Jaden . And you and jess." Tyler said. People started arguing again.
"Alright name one person you'd wanna share a room with!" I said.
"We'd be okay sharing a room... Like I said before!" Tyler said talking about him and Monica .
"Me and ash?" Katie said.
"I'd be fine with Bryce .." Jess said.
"Alright so then the other room would be me Jake and Jaden?...." I said kind of weirded out.
"Yeah that's perfect!" Tyler said then sipped his coconut drink . Even though I didn't love that idea.. I said yes anyways. Cuba was beautiful! We all sorta hung out in groups . Monica and Tyler were laying down on chairs near eachother on the beach. Jess and Bryce were hanging out talking on the beach. Katie and Ashley were tanning. And me Jaden and Jake were talking.
"Looks like jess and Bryce are hitting it off!" I said.
"Yeah but I guarantee she still likes tyler!" Jaden said.
"No, I think she actually does like Bryce! Look at those smiles !" I said .they genuinely did look like they were having a good time with eachother.
"Tylers busy having a good time with Monica ... He's got his arm around her .. Totally not giving a shit if Jess cares." Jaden.
"Yeah cause jess doesn't care.." I said.
"I don't knowwww... You don't just forget about a guy ." Jaden said.
"Guys .. Let .. Let it go..." Jake said. We had dinner. I got to my room and Jake was in there . Jaden walked in.
"Alright so.. How are we gonna share .. There's like two beds ..." I said.
"We can share..." Jaden suggested.
"Umm..." I said.
"I'm kidding ... Here you guys can have one bed each, I'll sleep on this Couch." Jaden said. That was nice of him. I went in Jess's hotel room.
"I love Cuba ! Hey thanks again alex , for bringing us all!" Jess said.
"Haha no problemo.. Where's Bryce ?" I asked.
"He went downstairs to ask the manager for the wifi password haha !" Jess said. The curtain was open so I walked over .
"Wow you can see the whole beach from here ! The lights make it extra pretty!" I said . We both looked out.
"Umm... Is that tyler and Monica?" Jess asked. I looked closer.
"Yeah.. They're still outside .." I said.
"Gross ..she's feeding him ice cream..." Jess said. I laughed. I went back to my room and went to bed.
**next morning **
We all went swimming but tyler and Monica were still sleeping. The water was warm and so great. I went back to the hotel to grab a towel. There were none in my room so I went to Monica's room.
"Oh hey......" Tyler said.
"Do you guys have any towels ?." I asked.
"I got a cut from a sea shell." I said.
"Here's one." Tyler said.
"Oh I was .. Gonna use that one to take a shower .." Monica said.
"Oh it's alright I'll go check for one at the Lobby." I said. She then went in the shower.
"You okay Brooks ?... Tyler asked.
"Uhh yeah .. Those were your guys's towels .. Ill just find a maid." I replied. I was limping across the room trying not to get my blood on the floor.
"Hey Alex." Tyler said then walked up to me.
"I know we .. Or you actually dislike me .. But I'm gonna be a good friend and help you." Tyler said.
"Alright .. How then ?" I asked.
"I'll go find one and you just wait up here. It took only like 5 minutes till he came up.
"I got bandages Instead.!" He said. He wrapped it around.
"Thanks vine. Alright well breakfast is gonna be served to us soon so hurry up outside .!" I said then left.
**jess and Bryce pov**
"Haha why would they play volley ball in the water?" Jess asked.
"That actually looks fun to be honest haha!!" Bryce replied.
"So...I asked.. Some employees if they knew any good restaurants for dinner and they said there was one 10 min away called "Dine like a King" haha something weird like that." Bryce said.
"And..?" Jess said eagerly.
"Would you wanna go there with me tonight?" He asked.
"Yeah ! Of course! Haha!!" She said then hugged him.
**back to alex pov***
We all ate breakfast at a long table. I was at the end near jess and Bryce.
"These pancakes are maginf!" Jess said.
"Hey! Do you guys all wanna go Zip lining after this ?" I asked. Some of them were down and not.
"Yeah sure." Katie and ash said.
"We're down as well." Jake and Jaden said.
"Umm Me and Monica already decided to go wind surfing before hand.." Tyler said. He looked over at Monica.
"Sorry.. We can catch up to you guys though afterwards." Monica said.
"Alright what about you guys?. I asked.
"Umm you know what.. I think it'd be fun going wind surfing." Jess said then she looked over at Bryce.
"Alright then ...See you guys later ." I said. So I got dressed in more protective clothing. Our instructor was actually pretty funny. She looked like she was in her high 20's.
"Alright so you're gonna put this on, there's 3 zip lines at once." She said. So I went first as well as Jaden and Jake.
"Alright are you ready!" She said. Then we zipped !
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!" We a screamed. We were zipping in between trees! Over water !! It was a blast!!
"Bet you guys I'll be finished first !!!" Jaden said.

So after all that fun stuff we got back to the hotel. I went to talk to jess.
"Hey! You coming with me Jake and Ashley to this really good restaurant apparently ..?" I asked. She looked dressed already.
"Well me and Bryce are going somewhere else -" she replied.
"Alright I see ... You two love birds have fun !" I said teasing her.
We all pretty much split up the dinner locations. Bryce and jess went off some other place. Me Jake and Ashley ate by the beach. Tyler Jaden Monica and Katie ate some place else. I didn't care.. To be honest. We ate lobster and shrimp. The food was really tasty so... I'm happy with that. We just talked and listened to drake . This night was really peaceful. We only had a couple more days left for the trip.
**next morning**
I woke up and heard a lot of talking. Apparently Monica ate something weird and it gave her an allergic reaction. She had to leave the trip. We went in their room.
"Wait so.. You have to leave??" I asked.
"Yeah she got some allergic reaction and just needs to have it taken by her doctor..." Tyler said to us. It's sad that she was gonna have to miss half of the trip. So later that day I went to relax by the beach. Jess came.
"Hey what's up?" I said.
"Nothing... So.... Monica's gone." Jess said. I looked at her.
"Jess.. You're happy she's gone haha! I feel bad though that she had to leave!"I said.
"Well I mean I'm happy that bryce is on this trip ... We have a really good connection." Jess said.
"Alright .. Don't be lovey Dovey around me!" I said. I was glad jess was finally happy. Bryce seems to make her haply and that's really good. She then left because she was going on a walk or hike with him. I just sat by the beach waiting for the sunset. It was peaceful hearing the waves. Tyler walked then sat beside me.
"Hey.. So Monica left.." I said.
"Yeah.. Kind of sucks but I'll be seeing her like pretty soon once the trip is over." Tyler said. I was letting sand run through my fingers not speaking to him.
"What ? You don't wanna talk to me Brooks? Haha" Tyler asked. Don't know why he thought that though.
"What do yah mean...?" I asked sarcastically.
"Is sand more interesting than me ?" He asked.i didn't respond.
"Alright then.." He said then looked away. I felt kinda like a douche. You know, kind of like him!
"Umm... So we're supposed to all go canoeing... You excited?" I asked.
"Not really.. I've went once and had a .. Kind of bad experience." Tyler said.
"What could of went so bad?" I asked.
"Well... It was with Monica .. And she didn't know how easily it could top over. So she stood up and the boat wobbled and we fell in the water!" Tyler said. I wanted to laugh but didn't wanna seem rude.
"Oh ... Haha! Sorry I couldn't hold it in!" I said.
"Haha shut up!" Tyler said. I got up.
"Hey? Where ya going?" He asked.
"Going in the hotel to sleep." I replied.
"Already?" He asked.
"Yeah .. I had a long day." I said.
"Kind of wanted someone to stay with me to talk or something.. I'm bored!"Tyler said.
"I can tell Katie or Ashely too!" I said then walked in the hotel.
"Actually it's ok." He said. So I went in the room and Jaden was sleeping on my bed, when he was supposed to be on the couch. So unfortunately for me.. I had to be on a skinny couch.
