****3 weeks later****
"Ugh !!! I don't know when I should ask Logan out!!! I don't wanna ask too soon or else it'll be like I'm moving on too him so fast !" Tiffany said.
"Great... I'd love to hear more !" I said.
"... You're just jealous you're not in a relationship!" She said.
"Yeah .... You're not either..... Keep dreaming!" I said then left.
**next day***
Logan came back. Tiffany got sick.
I was working on writing an outline for a movie script. Logan was writing as well. Finally I didn't have to hear her annoying voice today ! Then 20 minutes later...
"Hey Alex! Come sit at the table with me! I'm kinda bored here by myself!" Logan said.
"Umm.. Sure ...." I said bringing my shit with me.
"I haven't spoken to you in 3 weeks.. What's up?" Logan asked.
"Oh you know! Working my ass off !" I said.
"Hey.. So your dad is David..?" Logan asked.
"Umm... Yeah." I replied.
"So your dad hired you?.. Must've been easy for you to get here ?" Logan said.
"no actually the team wanted me cause he let them read my scripts !" I said laughing.
"Haha! I'm sorry .. I didn't mean it like that! Cause you see... My dad also works and directs like your dad." Logan said.
"I just don't want people to think I got into here cause my dad works here . I like had to study it." I said.
"Yeah same. Some of my friends thought I got into this business cause my dad works here too but it wasn't exactly like that." Logan said. I logged onto Instagram online. I missed a bunch of photos my friends posted. They all looked really happy. Jess and bryce looked super happy in their photos. I even started to kind of miss tyler once I saw him in jadens pics. But I had to forget about it and not let that distract me.
**20 min later**
"Hey Alex can you listen to this and tell me if its good?" Logan asked.
"Yeah sure!" I said. He started reading. As I was staring at him read it , I was Noticing how he really was. But shit! I don't want a boyfriend or to like anyone at the moment.
"So....?" Logan said. I was just staring at him. Say something idiot !!!
"Oh right ! Yeah.. It's great ." I said . He smiled back then laughed. As we were gonna leave the room and clock out he stopped me.
"Hey Alex! it was great talking to you today. I usually don't just unwind and open up to people." He said.
"Yeah I guess I'll see you tomorrow." I said then left. I got back home at the same time as my dad.
"Your mom called and was wondering if you wanted to visit her for thanksgiving?" My dad said.
"Yeah sure but what about you?..." I said.
"We can have an early one !" He said. So the next day sadly Tiffany came back.
"Maybe today I'll ask him out to dinner or something." Tiffany said. Logan walked in. We never really have to start working until someone rings this buzzer that we can hear from our room since we wrote so many scripts. I was just on my phone about to hear this.
"Hey Logan ! There's this new Italian restaurant that just opened up and I was wondering if you wanted to go!" Tiffany asked.
"Yeah sure ! What time ?" Logan asked.
"Oh ! I mean Umm how about 7pm!?" Tiffany said. As she walked over to get a snack from the cupboard she gave me this weird look then walked to me.
"Told ya he likes me!" Tiffany whispered.
"Good for you ." I replied. Tiffany started sitting closer to Logan and was flirting. It was kinda awkward to watch.
We left work. I got back home and my friend Liz invited me to go to this abandoned beach. Kinda creepy but I had nothing better to do. We got there and it wasn't creepy or anything. There was just barley anyone.
"So how's the film world studio stuff like?" Liz asked.
"well Its okay .. Except when you're stuck in a room with an annoying co-worker." I replied. We started talking about a lot of stuff that happened in our lives.
"Cute guy ! Cute guy!" Liz said. She looked like she wanted to talk to him.
"Go ahead.."! I said. I wonder how that date of theirs was going. I got back home. So thanksgiving with My dad already happened. And I was gonna fly out to New York to have thanksgiving with my mom in a week.
So it was the weekend and I had my day off. I literally just did nothing. I haven't spoken to any of my friends for the LONGEST time! I went to the beach near the pier. Then a ball rolled by me.
"Oh hey ..." I said to Logan.
"What's up? I'm just here playing volley ball with some friends and Tiffany." Logan said.
"I'm just relaxing here .." I said then gave him the volleyball.
"Come on play one game with us!" He suggested.
"Alright ... Fine !" I said then got up. I was on the opposite team of Tiffany and Logan. Once the ball came I spiked it near Tiffany because it's really funny to see her mad. After that mess I went back to sitting down. I was here for at least 6pm because I was face timing Jake and Katie. I lost track of time. Then I saw Logan near the volley ball court.
"What are you still doing here?" He asked.
"I kinda lost track of time .. What are you doing here? I asked.
"Oh we forgot our bag filled with our sports stuff here so.. I had to drive all the way back here and get them!" Logan said.
"Hey ! I never knew you were really good at volley ball!" I said.
"Haha ! No I actually suck like shit compared to my friends ! You were pretty good too tho!" Logan said.
"Yeah I know... We piked your teams ass !" I said laughing.
"Rematch! Tomorrow !" Logan said.
"Haha alright you got it!" I said.
"Alright I guess I'll see you tomorrow here.." Logan said. We started walking to the parking lot. I got back home and took a bubble bath. I was at a point in my life where I felt like there were some pieces in my puzzle that were missing.
**next day**
I drove down to the beach.
"Hey Alex ! What are you doing here?" Tiffany asked.
"Logan asked me to come ... And whoop your teams ass!" I said. She gave me a rude look. I was helping set up the nets then Tiffany comes.
"Hey Logan !! You're gonna need sunscreen ! Here !" Tiffany said as she put sunscreen on Logan. So we chose the teams. After the game we kinda just all chilled at the beach. I went to the washroom to change into some shorts.
"Oh hey your team almost won! Too bad we beat you !" I said to Tiffany.
"Just shut up! Oh I left my phone at the bar counter can you get it?" Tiffany asked. I went to get it anyways even though I hate her. Logan was walking there too.
"Oh hey ! Anddd You're not wearing a shirt.." I said laughing.
"Haha yeah I'm kinda sweating over here! " Logan said laughing. His body was so distracting when we're talking waiting in line.
"I'll have a water." Logan said. I just got an ice tea. We both walked back to the beach.
"Hey so are you planning to stay here for the day?" Logan asked.
"Uhh I'm not sure . What about you!" I asked.
"Well apparently there's gonna be some DJ coming down to the beach and I was gonna stay for a bit." Logan said. We started talking more.
"Hey I never got your number ! What is it?" Logan asked.i gave it to him.
"So... If I took my shirt off maybe your team would of lost." Logan said.
"Wha- shut up! No you guys would of lost still !!" I said laughing.
"Really !.." Logan said laughing.
"Well it's kind of distracting you now ." Logan said.
"Shut up haha! It's not !" I said laughing.
"So umm .. It looks like Tiffanys looking at you. Maybe you should get to her." I said.
"Tiffanys cool but .. I don't know." Logan said.
"And I think I like someone else." Logan said.
"Hey listen... Are you-" Logan said then Tiffany came to us interrupting him.
"Hey Alex ! Can I have my phone now!"
"Yeah sure.." I said then gave it to her.
"Logan! Where have you been! Come ! We're having marshmallows at the fire pit!" Tiffany said. Logan looked back at me.
"You okay?" He asked.
" I actually have to get back home anyways."I said.
"I'll talk to you later then!" Logan said as he was being dragged by Tiffany. That hoe always has the perfect timing for everything. I got back home and started packing because I was visiting my mom tomorrow.
