Always leaves

Dylan finally arrived. I saw him unpacking stuff from his car. I walked to him.
"Hey!! I was just about to text you." Dylan said to me.
"Huh? Why?" I asked.
"Well I just had to drop something off in that building by there and I'm not teaching surfing today." Dylan said. He seemed a little down like he needed to tell me something.
"Is there something wrong?" I asked.
"Yeah ... I'm gonna be going to Miami to teach surfing." Dylan said. So basically this kinda meant... Anything him and I had was gonna be over. I thought about it.
***jaden and Tyler perspective***
"Looks like she really likes that Dylan dude." Jaden said. They looked at Alex and Dylan talking from a distance.
"Yeah... She seems really into him." Tyler said.
"Do you still like her ?" Jaden asked.
"Nope. Cmon lets continue playing volleyball." Tyler said.
***back to Alex perspective***
"Look I'm sorry for telling you just now ... " Dylan said.
"It's fine. You like surfing and shouldn't stop. I really hope you have a great time living there." I said. He hugged me.
"Well I kinda gotta go." Dylan said. That was kind of awkward. It always ends up with someone leaving. I drove back home. I got back home. My night consisted of me eating noodles in a cup and sitting by myself outside.
***next day****
I had to go to Tyler's house to drop off a bag of sugar. I was standing at the door hoping Tyler wouldn't answer. And what do you know... He answers.
"My mom wanted me to drop some sugar off." I said. He looked at the sugar.
"Oh Okay. You can just drop it off in the kitchen." Tyler said.
"Why can't you just take it now?" I asked so confused.
"I kinda hurt my shoulder so .." Tyler said. I brought the bag of sugar to their kitchen. He was making cookies.
"Haha why are you baking ?" I asked.
"What? Oh umm just cuz ..." Tyler said. That was weird.
"Alrighty then...have fun." I said then left. I felt like me and Dylan didn't end things on the best note. It was like oh I'm leaving so I guess it's over. I went for a drive outside because it was nice and sunny. I drove to his house hoping he was there so I could at least say bye. He was packing stuff up. I walked out my car.
"Oh hey." Dylan said.
"Hey before you leave... You should have this." I said as I handed him his shirt. He looked at it and smiled at it.
"Umm no. Keep it." Dylan said.
"Hey look I'm sorry I never told you till now ! I -" he said.
"No it's okay. It's a great opportunity for you! Don't blame yourself. But I just wanted to wish you all the best and say bye." I said.
"Yeah. Well.. I'm about to leave so...
I'm really gonna miss you." Dylan said.
"Me too." I said. I was a little sad he was leaving. He kissed me on the cheek then went in his car. At least we didn't end on a bad note. I drove back home. I was so stressed. Thinking about all my failed relationships. I got back home and ate ice cream . A little pathetic Haha.
**next week**
So it was jakes birthday. We went to this really nice restaurant. There were tables on the beach and it was giving me really nice vibes. The down part was that each table only allowed three people per table. After the eating.. The dj was supposed to be there and set up his equipment for everyone to dance and chill to the music.A bunch of kourtneys girl friends came. I ended up sitting in a table with Jaden and Katie. The table diagonally across were Tyler and these two other girls who were kourtneys friends. He would stare at our table occasionally.
"Hey did you guys try the lobster ?" Jaden asked.
"Uhh It looks like you're enjoying it so much I'll just let you munch it all." I replied.
"Ughhh!! My ex boyfriend is here!!!" Katie said. I just wanted jakes birthday dinner party to be done. Jaden was barley talking because he was too busy eating all the fish in the sea. Katie kept staring at her ex boyfriend. I was just sitting resting my head on my hand.
"I'm gonna talk to him." Katie said getting up. She left. Tyler walked over to our table.
"Is that your fourth lobster?" Tyler said to Jaden.
"Man shut up." Jaden said as he continued eating it ignoring everyone.
"Anyways hey.. I saw you staring at me." Tyler said. I was staring at him but only cause it caught my attention because their table was quite loud.
"I was only staring because I was wondering why it sounded like you guys were speaking loud as if one of you were deaf." I said. He rolled his eyes.
"Okay... Well I'm having fun .. I hope you are." Tyler said.
"I am too. Why don't you get back to those two girls at your table." I said. He laughed.
"Yeah I will.. As soon as I find the bartender." Tyler said then left. The DJ finally came. Everyone was dancing .i was at the table just finishing up eating my steak. Some really fast hype music was playing. Everyone was dancing all hyped up. Jaden had a plate of lobster so I kept laughing at him. I could see Tyler and one of the girls he sat with earlier. I got out my seat through these mini clear glass doors to walk to Jaden on the "dance floor" which was just the sand on the beach to make fun of him but then the song changed to a slower song. Jake and kourtney I guess wanted a slow song. So it was weird the it went from hype music to a soft slow song. As I was walking through someone grabbed my hand and I got pulled back.
"Hey. Dance with me." Tyler said.
"What? no .. Im just gonna talk to Jaden." I said to him. Then these people who I guess ran the party came to us.
"You guys can't just talk if your gonna be on the dance floor." The man said.
"Yeah man no problem.. We were just about to." Tyler said.
"What?- no I'm -" I said then got inturuppted.
"Yeah alright thanks guys we"ll dance now."Tyler said.So in order for me to enter the dance floor I had to be dancing with someone. So I was only forced to slow dance with Tyler. I put my hand on his shoulder and my other in his hand. and he put his on my waist. And held my hand.I didn't want to talk to him. I was just waiting for those guards to leave so I could just walk to talk to my other friends. We were slow dancing. I knew he wanted to talk to me. I didn't want to talk to him but at the same time I did. There have been way to many problems we've had.
"Having fun ?" Tyler asked.
"I mean.. I was ..." I replied.
"Ouchh" Tyler said laughing. I laughed back smiling looking away.
"Oh Kay!! Were gettin somewhere." Tyler said.
"So I heard you got jake a lamp.. Shittier than my gift." I said.
"Hey! He said he needed one! So ... I got him one. Let me guess you got him a pillow." Tyler said. I laughed.
"I got them a cotton candy machine." I replied laughing.
"Man kourtneys friend Madeline is really cool and pretty." Tyler said.
"Okay.. Then .. Maybe you should get back to her." I said as I took my hand out of his hand. What a douche.
"Haha Alex come on! You know I'm just kidding." Tyler said. I just walked back out to the tables. I got back home. There was a nice sunset. I was in my backyard. Half an hour later the be rang. Guess who?!yep you guessed it !!!!
"Yeah?" I asked.
"Well after you left and walked away from me....." Tyler said.
"Yeah I remember." I said.
"Haha well you forgot your purse at the table so Jaden told me to give it to you..." Tyler said.
"Okay yeah tell Jaden I say thanks." I replied then was about to shut the door.
"Hey. You seemed a little jealous once I brought up another girls name. Does that mean you still have feeeeeelings for me." Tyler said obnoxiously.
"No.. I don't . It's just that... You're asking me to dance with you so don't waste my time." I said. I think he could tell I was upset because he wasn't trying to joke around.
"Okay .. Well I'm sorry I did that to you." Tyler said.
"Yeah .. Not the first time you've been an ass." I said.
"Oh yay, you still have memories of me in your head!" Tyler said.
"Shut up.." I said then closed the door. I don't know why he still keeps bothering me. If he's gonna mention and talk about other girls.. He Might as well just talk to them. I'm not gonna lie.. I still kind like him cause it's not that easy to get over someone but at the same time I actually hate him.
