Chapter 8

"Look I can explain-"
"No need to ... It looks like you disobeyed me." My mom said crossing her arms.
"Whys your car not in the driveway?" I asked. She gave me a look.
"Well we do have a garage.... Look point is .. You didn't listen to me so you're grounded, up to your room!" My mom is smart not gonna lie but she's honestly so annoying sometimes. Anyways that party was worth going to. Although there were some ... Interesting things that happened. I kind of felt bad for Jess. I mean she really likes Tyler but he seems to not feel the same way. Anyways my night was awesome.
*****next day*****
So I forgot I was grounded until my mom stopped me from leaving the house. I went back upstairs. Then I got a text.
"Hey can you please tell Jessica to answer her texts!!!" That read from Tyler. So I  texted back saying:
"Um yeah I mean I will but I can't promise you she'll respond back to you and how the frigg did u get my number !?!" I texted back.
"From Jake ,k well tell her to read her texts!" Tyler responded. I told her to text him back and I guess Jessica did cause she texted me saying things were good. I literally sat in bed for the whole day cause I was grounded.
"Hey ... Having fun being bored!?" My mom asked laughing then left. I was that bored that ..... No I can't say it. I was so bored that even ..... Ugh .... I didn't mind School, Oh shit I can't believe I said that. Haha nah I'm kidding ! I'd choose anything over school! But at least I had my phone.
(Next day)
"Heyyyyy!" Jessica said Really happy.
"Whoa someone's happy!!" I replied.
"Well Tyler decided that he'd take me to prom and apologized and everything!"
"Wow so you must be a happy cat! Well I'm happy for you 😄" I said.
**bell rang***
So I had science class. My teacher was just on his phone being the lazy ass he is, and made us do experiments.The class was pretty loud. Tyler walked over.
"Hey so... I decided it was only right I took Jessica and I told sarah I can't go with her." Tyler said.
"Does that seem like the right decision to make?" I asked. He hesitated for 3 seconds then nodded. That was pretty smart of him to say.
"Finally you did something smart!" I said. I then slipped on some water.
"Watch your step, and looks like I'm not the only dumb one." Tyler said as he left. Ugh I hate Tyler ... I don't even know how I started talking to him. I guess it's the fact that I see him as like Jessica's boyfriend and you know, your best friends always make fun of your gf/bf you know .... Ok maybe a little Confusing but you might get it . Anyways so we started talking about sarah .
"As much as I probably don't like SarAh, don't u feel kinda rude blowing off prom with her ?" I asked.
"Well i sorta wanted to go with her but .. Jessica's someone I wouldn't wanna lose. We've been friends forever but I'm still deciding whether I should change my mind or not if another girl comes up ." Tyler said .
"Okayyyy well Just make sure you choose the right girl, don't be an idiot, idiot !" I said packing my books in my bag.
"Ok so Umm see yah tomorrow loser!" Tyler said walking out the classroom.
Every Time I'd walk through the halls, these group of girls would always stare at me in a rude way... It was starting to piss me off. What did I ever do to them?
"Yo ! Why the fuck are you idiots always staring at me ?" I yelled. They gave me a dirty look and left. I mean, if you wanna know what's up, you just need to flat out ask. Anyways so semi formal was coming up and I honestly wasn't as exited as Jess but she's my friend so I might as well go. As much as other girls cared if they had a date, I didn't. I've never been to one yet but I think it would still be fun if you were there just chilling with a couple friends.  School ended early today and everyone was so happy .. Especially me! So I walked to my locker to grab my stuff and Jake walked towards me.
"Brooks!"
"Hey what's up, FRIKKEN happy we get to leave early today but it was kinda random!" I said.
"Yeah, happy this happened or else I would of been listening to Mr.Walkinson blabbing about his life story even though we're supposed to learn about math!" Jake replied.
"Wow everyone is already gone So what's up?" I asked .
"Well it's like noon so wanna get some lunch?" Jake asked. I'm guessing this is just a friendly gesture. Either way I didn't care, I was starting to get real hungry.
"Yeah sure lets go!" I replied back. As we walked down the hall at school we saw Tyler and Jaden.
"Yo Alex, Jake, max just made a last minute pool party. Everyone right now is goin including me and Tyler , you guys going?" Jaden asked packing his books in his locker.
"Nah don't laugh but we're goin to Starbucks and probably gonna eat lunch there." Jake replied.
"Oh, that's ... That's pretty cool.," Tyler said looking at Jaden.
"Alright have a great brunch little lovebirds aha!" Jaden said laughing.
"Dude , we're not-" I said.
"Yeah Jaden , they're not love birds, respect their relationship!" Tyler said laughing. Tyler and Jaden ran away laughing .
"Alex Umm -"
"Haha it's ok, I know they're idiots just jokin!" I said. We walked out and went in the car. We got to Starbucks. I was actually suprised that Jake would be the type to go to Starbucks.
"Hey I know it must be weird, that I go here. It's just so calming and relaxing."
"Hey it's ok if you and a million other basic girls go here!" I laughed.
"Yoooo come on dude, your makin it sound weirder than it should be aha!" Jake said. It never occurred to me but Jake is actually such a nice dude. He's not to bad on the eyes either. Maybe it is a good thing him and I are going to the dance. We talked for an hour and got back in the car.
"Hey wanna go to Max's pool party? Kate just texted me and said they built this huge slip n slide."
"Hey why not. Maybe we can watch Jessica slip and fall!" I replied. We got to the party and it was cool not gonna lie!
"Hey, did your date end cause you barfed all over him ?" Tyler asked laughing.
"Ok , he wasn't my date, and no I didn't barf on him weirdo ..."
"Hey but Umm how's your girlfriend Jessica?" I asked.
"Dude, don't even try asking me..." Tyler said. I raised a brow and evilly smiled and walked away.
