Side dates

So yeah you're probably wondering who this guy I was having a date with is . It was this guy I i met at the mall one day. And I didn't even tell him I was married but hey... Me and Tyler are a little on the rough edge at the moment. After the date I drove back home. Tyler arrived around the same time. I was in the kitchen just getting a drink .

"Hey what's up?" Tyler asked as he walked in the kitchen.

"Nothing much. How was your night?" I asked. Tyler smiled.

"Umm it was actually pretty good... How was yours?.." Tyler asked as he grabbed a drink from the fridge.

"Mine was great..." I said. I walked closer to him.

"You smell like ... Vanilla .." I said.

He kinda backed away.

"Well you smell kinda like men's cologne that I don't have but that's none of my business .." Tyler said. Okay so I guess we both were on the same page.

"I'm gonna go to bed now.." I said.
"Yeah ... I'll meet you there .." Tyler said then went to watch tv. Didn't really think I'd experience this weird thing happening. But I passed out quick and got my Beauty rest.

***next morning **
I took a shower and brushed my teeth.
Tyler was cooking food. I could smell it.
"Hey.... Whatcha cooking?" I asked as I sat down on a chair next to the island counter.

"Umm just some bacon and sausage and toast ..." Tyler said as he was flipping bacon. He came to the counter and poured the bacon onto his plate.

"And .... You just made some for yourself?.." I asked.

"..ohh did you want me to make you some?!?" Tyler asked. He lowkey did that on purpose .

"No it's fine...... I'll just eat a waffle.." I said and went to get some frozen waffles. I wanted some bacon but I was too lazy to make my own.

I sat across from Tyler at the dining table. And by across I mean all the way at the end of the table.

We just ate and didn't really say anything to eachother. He was just on his phone . I wasn't on mine. He was smiling at his phone. Not gonna lie even though him and I were kinda not talking or treating our marriage on a "break" at the moment .. I was still kinda pissed that he was talking to someone and was a little bothered.I Finished eating the waffle quickly . Since he was still talking to someone else I was like well shit then I'll continue to do the same. I know this marriage is kinda corrupt ....
