Trips

So... After sleeping on that uncomfortable couch I woke up pretty early. We all went surfing. It was pretty fun! We ate! Then did more fun adventurous shit! Later during the day we went canoeing.
**at canoeing place **
"Alright so.. There's enough for two people so choose a partner to canoe with!" The man said. People paired up.
Jess and Bryce got in a canoe together.
"Hey wanna share a canoe?" I asked Jake.
"I seriously would but Katie already asked." He replied. Then jaden and Ashley already went in one together.
"And you two can go in that last one!" The man said.
"No it's alright-" I said.
"Yeah do you have an extra canoe maybe then?" Tyler asked. The man looked a little annoyed. We ended up having to share one.
"alright ! You will all have walkee talkees , just incase you boat off to far and do some dumb shit! Have fun" The man said. So everyone sort of ended up in different areas.
"Wait tyler are you supposed to go this far out on the edge ?.." I asked.
"We can easily find our way back...were only like .... 500 feet away..." He said. Our arms got tired so we just stayed in the same spot.
"Well.. We seem a little lost..." Tyler said.
"We are not ..Lost ....! K !We're just a little far out ..." I replied.
"Hey look! They packed us food! " Tyler said.
"So do you want a turkey sandwich or ham?" He asked.
"They couldn't get us better food ?" Asked.
"Haha I guess not.. So which one do you want?" Tyler said. I just chose the turkey one. I then realized the canoe had some sort of rope or wire thing attached. So we were kind of forced into staying in the middle of the water longer.we just tried passing time by talking
"Sunsets supposed to come out soon." I said looking at the sky. He looked up. We tried paddling back but we couldn't. So we just sat in the boat. The sunset finally came.
"Looks really nice ." Tyler said.
"Haha me and jess used to go to beaches just to see the sunsets." I said.
We just watched the sunset.
"Watching sunsets seem more like a thing for couples to do.. Since its I guess "romantic"." I said.
"Yeah..." Tyler said slowly.
"Hey I've always wondered ... Why you seemed to kinda dislike me ... I mean more than any of the guys at least." Tyler asked.
"What..? Haha!" I laughed. We just proceeded to talking about random shit. We were able to finally row again. So we started rowing back to the base. While we were paddling, we were chatting.
"Hey so you never really answered my question ... You kind of seem to dislike
Me ." Tyler said. Ughhh!
"Yeah Umm... I .."
"Sorry if it comes off that way .. I mean yeah don't get me wrong.. You piss me off a lot.. Like a lot .." I said.
"Oh... " he said a little gloomed.
"But..." I said hesitating. At this point.. I didn't know what I was even thinking. My mind was bouncing everywhere.
"But what?" He asked.
"But.. You!!!! You seem to kinda dislike me too ..? Why's that?" I asked.we were getting a little closer to the beach.
"I don't hate you...?" I mean would I rather marry a monkey and get slapped by a fish 10 times ? Yeah!" Tyler said.
I rolled my eyes a little looking away.
"Haha !alex.." He said turning my face to him.
"Alright Umm... I actually don't hate you." Tyler said.
"Why do you even think that?.." He asked.
"I don't know! Sometimes you say some rude shit !?" I replied a little mad.
"Umm... I guess I only get to do this once .." He said . I was kinda confused.
"Look.. If i like someone .. I tend to joke around a lot with them..."Tyler said. Did I just hear what he said?
"What are you saying-" i said.
"This is fucking weird alex .. You're making me say it !so.. I kinda like you.." Tyler said then looked away. I didn't know what to think.
"No... You don't ... You don't seem to... ! You're basically dating Monica.. If you liked me .. You wouldn't be acting like a jerk liking some other chick in front of me..." I replied. I could tell tyler was trying to paddle faster to get out of this conversation.
"I always joked and screwed around with your mind cause I thought it was fun! Come on you had fun having me mess with you.." He said. I laughed.
A few seconds later I was back in annoyed mode.
"Look.. I feel like you're only saying this all because Monica's not here and you like need someone to distract yourself from her while she's not on the trip and-" I said then got interrupted.
"Holy shit alex! No! She was the distraction all along! The main reason why I never told you I liked you was because of jess.You guys are like really close friends and she's always liked me and I didn't want her to hate you." Tyler said. I was so Frikken confused and wanted to just leave.
"I .. Still don't think you like me, you're just saying this cause you feel alone because Monica isn't here maybe?..." I said. I just couldn't believe him. I felt like since Monica had to leave, he just feels kind of alone and is just looking for someone but once we get back to  ee York .. All the shit he said now ,won't mean a thing!
"Alex .. I really do like you more than her !" Tyler said.
"Bullshit!!!! You're basically dating her now! You wouldn't be dating her if you actually like me!You asked HER to prom ! I literally helped you prompose to her!You barley even talked to me during this whole trip until now tyler!" I yelled. Luckily no one was here to hear me yelling.
"Holy fucking shit alex!!! I can't believe You're this oblivious! Ok first let me ask you this! Do you like me?" Tyler asked. I hesitated.
"Alex..? Come on.. Just tell me.. I'd totally understand if you don't like me .." Tyler said. I didn't say anything and I kept looking away.
"Alright I'm getting out this canoe.!" I said about to walk out.
"Alex no! Just wait" Tyler said.
"Look.. Honestly .. I don't know if you mean it.. How is it that you try to tell me you like me once she leaves .. Ok I'm gonna go back to the hotel ..." I said then left. We had to pack anyways. So after a couple days into the trip we didn't really speak. We all later had to pack to get ready to go to our flight home. Halfway into this trip it was total chaos. Tyler seemed kinda pissed at me. He wasn't even talking to me neither did I though. There was too much stuff that just made me question him and I didn't really know if he was telling me things that were true to him. We all finally arrived back to New York. My mom was at work I was guessing.it was 3pm. I was a little jet lagged so I took a nap for an hour. I woke back up. I texted tyler but he just read them. So when he texted me.. I didn't respond. This went on for about a week or so. Ever since that whole ... Commotion Happened between me and tyler.. It's all I thought about.
I went out with Leo for a walk. I didn't let things get off my mind.
"Hey.. You okay? Is there's something wrong ?" Leo asked.
"Huh no ! Haha I day dream a lot. .." I said Lying. So one night... I was walking.. I then bumped into tyler .. Just the person I wanted to see.
"Oh hey .." He said.
"Hey.." I said looking away.
"Where's your girlfriend?" I asked.
"Alex... " he said.
"What?.... Now that you're back in town where she is .. You don't even give a shit about me?" I said.
"See! You didn't like me! You just said all that shit! " I said.
He rubbed his face and turned around for 3 seconds then turned back to me.
"It's so crazy how you don't see it." Tyler said.
"What? What don't I see? That your a liar ? Because I see that! You literally lied for no reason!" I said.
"Holy shit alex ! Alright ! There were two fireworks because at first I was gonna ask you to prom but then Leo came around!" He said. I waited .
"From the day I saw you I was blown away from how FRIKKEN beautiful  you were and - I always messed around with you because it was any excuse to even be near you! You know how frikken hard it was for me to be friends with you ? I liked you way more than a frikken friend! Holy shit! I really freaking like you! That's all I can say!l" Tyler said. I didn't know what to say.
"Well say something !........ Alex say something!" He said. I didn't know what to think . My mind was filled with stuff. I .. Shrugged.
"Well..  Say something ..." He said softly. I walked away . As I turned around .. He was still standing there.. Then walked away too.
