Jealousy creates the worst

So we all sat on two different couches. I knew Jaden still had feelings for Emily but she dumped him because she moved away for a year. She didn't seem to make things awkward with Jaden though... She probably thought he was over her. Tyler was sitting next to Emily. And I sat next to Jaden. Tyler put his arm over Emily. Jaden looked mad.
"This douche is giving all he has just to piss me off!" Jaden whispered angrily to me. It seemed like Emily was into Tyler. She kept on snuggling up against him.
"So Emily.. I had no idea you liked one of my friends!" Jaden said. Way to break the ice huh?
"Haha well I'm not so sure if we're still friends." Tyler said.
"I don't like you Emily but the fact that your actually flirting and getting close with my ex friend is pretty douchey.." Jaden said. Emily raised her eyebrow.
"Well I'm not gonna lie .. I always thought he was hot." Emily said then flipped her hair. We were all a bit surprised.
"... Really?..." Tyler said as his pitch went up. Emily had her arm across Tyler's body.
"You wanna play that game ?" Jaden asked. Great!! Shit was about to start. I honestly wanted to leave.
"Come on Alex .. Let's go to the restaurant !" Jaden said. I made an annoyed face at him.
"Don't worry.. We'll go to the restaurant to plan the date for me and Carry but not actually go on a date together" Jaden whispered only to me. Tyler got up.
"Dude .. Seriously why ?" Tyler asked Jaden. Jaden laughed. I kinda felt bad we were doing this to Tyler but the truth was that we were trying to be alone so I could help him book a date at this embarrassing place for another girl.And for once he should experience being on the other end falling off the cliff. Because that's usually how it felt between me and him when he would be with other girls and still say he apparently likes me.
"This is my house so Emily .. Get your ass out !" Jaden said. She rolled her eyes and left not even caring. Time was ticking. Me and Jaden only had an hour left before the place closes so we can call. I went to grab my coat. I could hear Tyler talking to Jaden.
"Dude come on! You know I like her ! Why are you taking her out??" Tyler said. Jaden laughed again because he doesn't actually like me. But he was pissed at Tyler so he was just trying to piss him off more.
"Dude.. You don't even like her.. She clearly likes me... ." Jaden said.
"Okay then whatever .. Have fun." Tyler said. He walked to the front door where I was.
"I hope you guys have fun." Tyler said trying to seem happy. I guess he did really get mad. Me and Jaden organized his date.
**next day***
Jaden went on a date with Carry for her birthday. He texted me saying she was so happy! I went for a walk. I saw Tyler talking to this girl.They were all gitty.
I walked to the park and sat there on my phone. I know!! I should be enjoying the nature outside but... I'm into technology. I walked back home. Tyler was walking on the sidewalk towards me. Great!
"How was your date?" Tyler said as he passed by me. I turned around.
"Hey!" I said. He turned back around and walked to me.
"Does your arm still smell like perfume from having your arm around emily?" I asked sassy. He laughed.
"Well.. I guess I found out yesterday that I'm not the only one who likes friends of ours." Tyler said.
"Haha ! You seriously don't even know what you're talking about." I said laughing.
".. What then?" Tyler asked.
"Jaden is literally on a date today! I was helping him plan one !" I said. Tyler rubbed his face.
"... No.. You're joking .." Tyler said. I shook my head.
"Why was he flirting with you !!?" Tyler asked.
"Cause you pissed him off by talking about his ex girlfriends so we wanted to piss you off!" I said.
"Ohhh..... Well I didn't know it bothered him that much." Tyler said.
"You know you guys made me so pissed off last night !  ..!" Tyler said.
"Doesn't feel to good does it?"I said.I continued to walk back home.
"Hey... Alex... I'm sorry for all those times I've been a complete ass to you." Tyler said. I turned around. I did appreciate the apology but he can't just expect me to be so happy after that.
"K. " I said.
"So "K" is your response?" Tyler asked.
"Ok cool then.." Tyler said. I walked back home. Jake and kourtney were throwing a huge party to celebrate their  anniversaries. I feel like they've had way to many but it's probably an excuse  to party. We all got to the place. It was a huge booked club. A bunch of people were there. I was having a Great time. There also was an open bar. I walked over to the counter. This girl walked over to the bar. She kept waving at this person making these faces.
"It's your turn ." The bartender said to the girl. I tried to find a seat to just relax and sit. Jake and kourtney were Dancing like party animals which was kinda funny. There were So many tables filled with other people. My only other choice was to sit in a table with Tyler and Katie. I sat down.
"Yeah don't mind me i just needed a place to sit for a couple of minutes." I said.
"I think I'm gonna use the washroom." Katie said and got up. Of course !!! I was hoping Tyler wouldn't say anything. I was looking at people dancing from my seat.
"Having a good time?" Tyler asked. I nodded.
"I saw you have that mini dance battle against that girl haha!" Tyler said.
"Haha you saw that? yeah I for sure kicked her ass." I replied. We continued to talk. I was enjoying the company surprisingly.
"Hey for once you actually don't seem to hate me." Tyler said smiling. I smiled back and threw this lime at him.
The table we sat in were one of those restaurant booths where you share a seat.
"I never noticed that your eyes were hazel." Tyler said.
"Haha really?" I asked smiling.
"I never noticed how nice your eyelashes were." I said. He laughed.
"Thanks ! I think ?" Tyler said laughing. We continued to talk and not kill eachother.More people were starting to come to the club so it got more crowded. My phone got a text. It was from Dylan. I ignored it. All of my friends danced. I left the club to get some air. I looked at some of the texts from Dylan. He was just asking about how I was. I was kinda happy he said hi because .. Hes a pretty cool person. I sat down on the sidewalk.i kinda sat outside thinking about life. I felt like I should be doing something with someone. Tyler walked out the door.
"Hey, whatcha doing out here?.. I think kourtney was looking for you ." He said.
"Oh okay yeah I'll get back to her soon." I said.
"By the way.... You made my time I spent here less lame." Tyler said smiling. I smiled back and got up.
"Well I'm gonna get back to jake and kourtney in the club." I said. I walked back in the club to say bye to kourt and jake. Me and kourtney ended up talking for 15 minutes. I walked back out. Tyler was standing there.
"You're leaving ?" Tyler asked.
"Yeah... " I replied.
"Okay, well I guess I'll see you around." Tyler said wondering how he should say bye. He held his hand out.
".. A handshake?" I asked. He laughed.
"Yeah.. You just hold my hand then we shake it. That's a handshake." Tyler said.
"Yeah.. How dumb of me." I said then shook his hand.
"Okay . Well bye then." I said. He smiled. As I was driving back home.
