ATLAS LEE-SUNNY, or Atlas Lee-Sunny Shepherd had been through it all! two shootings, a ferryboat crash, a bomb inside a patient, losing his father - but he's also been through the good - getting married, adopting two kids, adopting three dogs, watching his siblings start their own families and so much more.
Seven years ago, he had received a job offer from Richard Webber. He would come work at Seattle Grace Hospital as a cardio attending well his two younger siblings completed their internship and then their residency. He said yes to the job offer, because he would always follow his family if they wanted him too, and they did.
That lead him to Seattle where he found Derek Shepherd, his now husband. The two met at a bar, which is practically famous for all the staff at the nearby hospital, and then they ended up at Atlas's home. (where he lived with his family.) Atlas's mother made everyone breakfast, and then Derek had been introduced to such a wild, yet amazing, family. Derek had been married to someone else when he met Atlas. The two broke off the relationship they had, leaving Atlas broken hearted. And then it goes on and on, but eventually they find their way back to each other - their hearts pulling to be with the others.
