Hyuka's schedule got even more full the next 2 months, from his mom doing last minute prep for the move, to his friends demanding to take him places before they couldnt anymore.

Seungmin's proudest achievement was convincing the owners of Yankee stadium to let them play for the hell of it. Baseball season was long over. "The stadium is just sitting collecting dust so why not?" He was told he could only do it if the school funded it and they sold out at least the bottom floor.

The Spoiled Rebellion drafted thousands of petitions and posters and hung them around the city. They recorded some videos of them playing with the help of other friends to gain more recognition.

Their last stunt was pooling together some of their trust fund money, to buy an ad in Times Square while they illegally played. By the end of their campaign, they had as many signatures as seats in the stadium. The school gave in and gave them a concert date.

Tickets were sold for $10 each. The first portion would go towards paying the school back for their investment, the rest was equally split between band memebers.

Every news outlet did a piece on the high school band that managed to sell out Yankee stadium. Taehyun saw it when Beomgyu showed him an article. They decided to watch the live stream together when Soobin got off of work.
Taehyun sat on the floor while the couple sat on the couch.

Hyuka introduced himself as the leader of The Spoiled Rebellion to the crowd. He thanked everyone for coming then gave his other band members a chance to speak. Vernon closed their opening speech out by saying "thank you! Enjoy the show!"

The first song they played was a tribute to the first they ever played together, "I've been waiting" by Lil Peep. Without stopping, they flowed into "Centuries" by Fall Out Boy. Hyuka felt himself during the song. He began to adlib while Vernon took the main chorus.

"Time of our lives" by Pitbull was next. Hyuka loved to rap. He worked the stage, making sure to engage with every section of the audience. When his eyes landed on Yeonjun and his parents, he threw them a wink and a kiss.

After the song was over, Seungmin stopped to ask the crowd "are you having fun?!"

They cheered for them. Their energy felt like it was being fed into their bodies. Words couldnt describe the euphoria that you got when a whole crowd of people showed their undying support for you.

Seungmin said "our next song is 11 minutes by Halsey. After, we're each going to sing a solo then close out the night with more of us together!" He turned around and pointed to Hyuka. "For those of you who don't know. This is his last day in New York before he leaves us. We weren't a band before him. He made us one. We're going to miss you buddy. You're a hell of a friend. Now Jake! Start the song!"

Taehyun couldnt keep his eyes off Hyuka every time he rapped. It was such a different persona from the sweet honey voiced boy he knew. When Jake sung "why arent you here?" Taehyun found himself asking the same question. Beomgyu and Soobin were talking about how amazing they were doing.

Seungmin chose to sing "So good" by B.O.B for his solo. Hyuka brought out an electric keyboard specifically for that song to start it off.

Vernon chose "8TEEN" by Khalid. Jake chose "thank you, next" by Ariana Grande. Their songs matched their personal vibes perfectly. Yuna couldnt tell if Jake was trying to offend her or not.

Hyuka was the last up. He chose a song that he felt was the perfect way to say good bye to New York. "Good Times" by All Time Low began to play. His passion for singing rang through every note. Taehyun found himself starting to cry towards the end. Soobin felt himself holding back tears but failed when he saw Beomgyu breaking as well.

"I never want to leave this sunset town. But one day the time may come. And I'll take you at your word and carry on. I'll hate the good bye but I wont forget the good times."

Hyuka heard his members sniffling behind him at the last chorus. He looked out into the crowd and saw the girls who knew him crying. Yeonjun looked proud. He radiated happiness. It really did feel like the perfect way to leave this place.

His members were still quietly sobbing behind him so he told the audience they were going to take a 15 minute break. "Go the bathroom! Get food! We will back with more songs after the show!"

He rushed to his band and pulled them into a group hug. Naturally, he cracked a few jokes to get them to laugh. They still had a whole other set to do. Seungmin led them through breathing excersises until they calmed down. Vernon put his hand in the center and asked "you guys ready?" They lifted on 3 then drank a lot of water before addressing the audience again.

Jake joked "glad to see you're still here! We were worried you guys left!" The crowd laughed. "Now our next song will be the Big Time Rush theme song. Dont cringe! That song actually hits! Without further ado... LET'S START THE CONCERT AGAIN!"

Taehyun, Beomgyu and Soobin did cringe at first. They questioned why in the world they chose that song but towards the end, even they started enjoying it.

The band felt like they were on cloud 9. Cell phone lights became stars. They were singing to the universe. Applause sounded like a rolling thunder passing around them. They were trapped in a beautiful storm of their own making. Hyuka took in every second, not wanting to let go.

Taehyun saw the spotlights dance in his crush's eyes. He thought of the scene from Aladdin where he asks Jasmine, "do you trust me?" Only instead of a flying carpet, it would be Kai that he would help Hyuka on to. "One day." He told himself. Just one day.

They Spoiled Rebellion closed out the show with " Carousel" by 5SOS. Hyuka took the lead vocals. This time none of them played an instrument. They sang with their arms around each other, taking one last oppprtunity to enjoy being together.

For the first time in his life, Hyuka started crying at the thought of leaving. The only other people who have seen him cry were his parents and Yeonjun.

Taehyun, Yeonjun, Soobin and Beomgyu started sobbing at the sight of seeing Hyuka in tears. He was the strongest, emotionally, out of all of them. It hurt to see their ball of sunshine in pain. Taehyun wanted to run on stage and hug him. Yeonjun did exactly that. Security tried to stop him but Hyuka just ran into his arms.

He took his best friend onto the stage with the rest of his band and grabbed a microphone. Yeonjun held his hand as he shakily said his farewell to New York.

Hyuka thanked his band members for agreeing to do the crazy shit he suggests.
He thanked Yeonjun for being his rock and his role model in life. He thanked his parents for their undying trust and allowing him to be himself. He thanked Beomgyu and Soobin for not giving up on him and apologized for being an absent friend. Lastly he gave a special shout out to the birthday boy born in February. "Im sorry I cant be there to celebrate with you. Your gift will be worth the wait. I promise. Goodnight New York! Its been an honor!"

Taehyun had never been more excited for a birthday until now.

The Spoiled Rebellion took their final bow and exited the stage. He took another 30 minutes to say good bye to his band and his friends. Yeonjun played the bad guy and pulled him away when they had to go because they had an early flight.

Right before bed, Yeonjun asked "are you ready?"

Hyuka thought of the warm beaches and surfing in the ocean. "Yeah. I am."
