The group of five woke up together in the fort. Yeonjun was the only one whose back wasn't killing him because he was sleeping on the couch.
Hyuka and Taehyun went to wash up then change. Everyone else did the same. Soobin started breakfast shortly after. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties and toast.
The Minnesotans asked the Californians what they wanted to do today. Neither of them had an idea. They couldn't really fly because it was daylight. It was too cold to swim. The amusement park wasn't open and Hyuka was banned from most of the arcades that had a mini golf course.
Yeonjun suggested the indoor waterpark by the mall of america. It wasn't the worst idea except you needed to buy a hotel room for the night to get in. Taehyun didn't want either of them to waste $200 plus dollars just to get into a waterpark but of course, he was ignored. Yeonjun argued they could split it five ways if they insisted on paying.
When they arrived, Hyuka pushed Yeonjun out of the way before the older could pay. The Minnesotans did not pay at all.
Yeonjun responded by picking his best friend up and throwing him into the water. The lifeguard warned him he would get kicked out if he did it again. Hyuka couldn't stop laughing when he heard that.
The rest of the boys jumped in afterwards. To the side was a small net over the water. A couple teenagers were playing volleyball. The group of five asked if they could join.
Taehyun, Yeonjun and Beomgyu took it much more seriously than the other two. Soobin and Kai went off to do their own thing. They chose to do the lazy river since Soobin still didn't like swimming.
Kai asked if they were getting married anytime soon. They've been together for six years now.
Soobin got really red. "We haven't really talked about it. I want to but I can't exactly afford a ring. And don't you dare say you'll offer to pay for it!"
"But Soobin!" Kai whined. "Why not?"
"Because... it'll feel more special if it comes from me!"
"I can buy the ring if you want to save for your wedding then!"
Soobin briefly thought about it. "Are you sure?"
"Yes! Oh my god! Can we go buy it now?! Please?!"
"What?! Now?!"
Hyuka started jumping in his floatie. "Why not?! I'm only here for another day! Yeonjun and I are leaving tomorrow!"
"But... what are we going to tell them? We can't just ditch them!"
"Sure we can! We can say we got food poisoning or something."
"But-"
"We don't have to if you really don't want to but I think it would be fun! Plus, do you really want to swim all day?"
Soobin thought about it some more. "Okay. Let's do it. We need to be fast though to take the car."
They ran out of the lazy river and grabbed their clothes. The other three saw them quickly get changed. Beomgyu asked what they were doing. Hyuka said they were getting food then they ran off.
Both of their phones were blowing up with messeges but they didn't care.Soobin drove to the mall of america and they begun to walk around the different jewelry stores. None of the rings seemed to be perfect enough for Beomgyu. Hyuka asked if he had a design or a material in mind. The older mentioned he definitely wanted a wood one since their lives were centered around the woods. He also wanted a gold or black metal to be the border.
They went to two other jewelry stores but none of them had what he was looking for. The last one they went to was advertised as a family owned one. It didn't look as commercial as the other stores and it wasn't nearly as big. Regardless, they decided to give it a shot.
