Night Rider- Tyunning

Day 4

Soobin came to pick Hyuka up for breakfast. The younger rushed out, excited to spend some alone time with him. "Where are we going?"

"Somewhere by the water. You don't get this view in Minnesota."

Hyuka knew the place. He called his driver and took them to the sunset district. There was a favorite cafe of his that served the best savory crepes. Soobin couldn't decide what he wanted so Hyuka ordered 5 different ones for them to try. The younger paid before the older had the opportunity to.

They sat down outside and began to talk about life. The older finally had someone to talk about anime with so the conversation became centered around the shows theyve seen together. They also took notes on series suggestions from each other.

Kai was laughing until he looked at the ocean. In the sky, some big black creature and a big white creature were circling each other. He watched the black one dive into the water. The white one followed closely after. He rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't hallucinating.

Soobin turned to see what the younger was staring at. He whispered "shit." Then he looked around to see if anyone else had noticed but no one seemed to.

Hyuka began freaking out "Soobin... please tell me I'm not going crazy... are those dragons? Soobin can you see that?! What the hell?!"

Soobin cupped his hand over Hyuka's mouth. He let go when the younger began to calm down. "I see them. They're real. No one else can see them though. Just us. Beomgyu and I own the white one. Taehyun owns the black one."

"YOU WHA-"

Soobin cupped his hand over the younger's mouth again. "Shh! Please. Be calm!"

Hyuka watched the black dragon emerge from the water holding a dolphin in it's mouth. The more he stared at it, the more he realized it was the real version of the plushy Taehyun once gave him.

Watching a dolphin get chomped in half in the air wasn't the kind of thing he wanted to see while eating a crab crepe.

The white dragon emerged from the water holding a half eaten shark. Hyuka looked around and couldn't understand how no one else was seeing two fucking dragons in the sky.

The black dragon made eye contact with him and he began to panic more. The dragon started flying towards his direction while the white one dove back into the water.

Hyuka got up out of his chair and fell backwards. "SOOBIN!"

Soobin stood up and helped him to his feet. People in the restaurant began looking so he assured everyone they were fine. He then whispered "his name is Kai."

"Is that some kind of sick joke?!"

"Keep your voice down! People will think we're crazy!"

Hyuka, as calmly as he could, asked "Kai? What the hell?!"

"Taehyun named him. They found each other when he was 11. You actually had just moved. It was during the blizzard. He named him Kai because it means a bunch of elements I guess?"

"Yeah. Earth, fire and sea."

"Right... well he is friendly so please don't freak out when he sniffs you."

The black dragon landed on the edge of the shore. He began to walk up to the table and sniff Hyuka. He then sniffed Soobin and gave him a wet lick on his cheek. "Hey. I've missed you too. I told you to stay away from here though!"

Kai rolled his eyes then softly roared.

Hyuka kept looking between them like his eyes were lying to him. The dragon turned to sniff him. He was frozen in his chair whispering "please don't eat me!"
