"Yeonjun! Come on! Wake up!" Hyuka said as he was knocking furiously on his best friend's door.

Soobin and Beomgyu were waiting behind him. Beomgyu offered to try but Soobin warned he would probably get punched in the face. Hyuka tried calling his cell phone but it went straight to voicemail.

Beomgyu threatened "if he doesnt wake up in the next 2 minutes, can we just leave without him? Im hungry!"

Yeonjun yelled "YOU BETTER NOT LEAVE ME BEOMGYU!"

"THEN WAKE UP WHEN WE ASK YOU TO!"

"FUCK OFF!"

Soobin rolled his eyes and dragged Hyuka away so they didnt have hear the other two continue yelling at each other. He took a seat on the bar stool and the younger sat next to him. Soobin couldnt help but smile. In a small way, he was glad to see Hyuka hadnt changed. The other part of him couldnt wait until he did. He had a strong feeling puberty would change the 12 year old completely, especially knowing what his dad looks like.

Hyuka got weirded out. "I missed you too but why do you keep staring at me?"

Soobin kept grinning. "You just remind me of someone back home."

"Oh! Taehyun right? How old is he? He sounded younger than you guys."

"He's your age now. A few months older."

Hyuka perked up. "Wait how did he start living with you guys?"

Soobin took a few seconds to think about how he should word this. "He lost his family in the blizzard. Then he sort of... found us. We took him in because we couldnt just leave him out there. It sort of worked out. He helps around the house and we had an extra bedroom anyways."

Hyuka laughs "Beomgyu actually lets him help out?"

"Beomgyu what?" he says as he comes down the stairs with Yeonjun.

The two sitting down say "nothing" then giggle to each other. Soobin wraps his arm around Beomgyu as they walked out the door.

Yeonjun led the way to the diner. It was a favorite breakfast spot of his. Old southern themed. Reminded him of when he lived in Georgia for a bit. Pecan pancakes, sweet tea, southern fried chicken, hush puppies, buttermilk biscuits, all the good stuff that would give you a heart attack after but you sure as hell wouldnt complain about it.

Hyuka figured the Minnesotans didnt have a lot of money so he called the diner ahead of time to tell them everything was on him. He specifically requested the wait staff to say it was a birthday treat so their feelings wouldnt get hurt.

They got seated at their booth and the waiter said "Kai! Nice to see you again! Everything for your table is on me today okay? Consider it a birthday present!"

The waiter left to give them a couple minutes to decide. Beomgyu asked "geeze how often do you guys go here?"

Yeonjun replied "a lot. I used to live in Georgia when I was 10. Reminds me of the food down there. Hope you guys arent on a diet."

Hyuka ordered the strawberry shortcake inspired pancakes, Yeonjun got sausage hash with a side of hush puppies, Beomgyu got the Texas breakfast burger although he had no idea what made it Texas and Soobin got the sausage biscuits and gravy.

They were all stuffed by the end of the meal.

Next on Yeonjun's to-do list was the statue of liberty. The Huening's driver picked them up and transported them a far distance to a helicopter landing zone. The sign out front read "helicopter tours here". Soobin and Beomgyu couldnt believe they set this up for them. Yeonjun bragged "being in the air is amazing isnt it?"
