Okay jokes aside, I'm actually being consistent with trying to draw without a base, or at least trying to be consistent there. I'm still not too confident in doing bodies on my own just yet, so instead, have this bust-up piece of my girl Sara :)
I tried out a new way of doing lips too—normally I just do the demon-slayer style of coloring the bottom one, and while I like the look of that, I've also been getting inspired by a lot of art videos so I thought I'd make this more my own if you will :D
I must say, out of my 17-member demon slayer cast, her hair is one of the easiest to shade (side eyes Kasumi and her pain in the butt braid that I decided on), so kudos to her. It's probably partially because black hair is easier to shade since who needs color theory, but m e h
I don't know color theory I've literally been winging it this whole time
Fun fact, this wasn't originally supposed to be a Sara drawing. I was just practicing with guidelines and thought "let's see where the wind takes me." Clearly, the wind takes me here XD
