Hello hello again! Hope you didn't mind that small delay, but I'm back once again! Luckily all I had left for this particular drawing was finishing up the shading. I'm not gonna lie, this was the one I was probably the most excited for—in fact, it was one of the reasons I started this series in the first place. I have here everyone's favorite wise young spirit Hiyori as Aeolus, god of the wind!
So, I actually had this idea in my mind way before I started this series. Not only does her breathing style fit, but when I heard Kira Stone singing this song and just the energy of fun loving, somewhat mischievous, advice-giver was p e r f e c t. In fact, it was so perfect that I put the song above :)
Designing a dress was definitely easier given the fact that I've had plenty of practice drawing this style of clothing. I gave it a teal tint to call back to her design of course, and I knew that loose and flowy was the name of the game. The top was honestly kind of a happy accident that happened while I was doodling. I also added silver cuffs instead of the typical gold, and gave them wind designs.
The little wings in the hair was an impulse decision, but I thought they added a dash of cuteness so I just had to :3
Of course her bangs were a debacle, but what's new there XD
Other than that though this is probably one of my smoother drawing processes—the base definitely helped (shown above with the video!) cause this only works if we're honest with each other. I'm actually pretty proud of how it came out cause I was really excited to bring this idea to life :)
