Okay first of all, don't judge me for this being flat-color cause I finished this during my lunch break and there's no energy in here. So here's the character who inspired my girl Sara's design, the woman the myth the legend Rue!
Rue is honestly one of my favorite characters—she's well written, probably incredibly fun to work with, and puts me through the most tearjerker moments. It's a wonder I didn't draw her sooner, but I probably wouldn't have been able to do her justice XD
Let me tell you, her hair was a STRUGGLE. I must've looked at the reference at least 29292 times, and it still took me a heck ton of tries. I ended up taking a break for the day and coming back today, and I think that was just what I needed.
