Hello my lovelies! Did you miss our favorite Fox pillar? I have no idea, but I realized that this was sitting in the drafts for a while and since I am currently plagued by art block, I thought I'd clear these out!
Honestly I wasn't originally going to let this see the light of day at first- looking back I'm not really sure why I just went through a period of time where I was like "remember that random Reika drawing you did? Well it sucks lol"
Maybe it's the sheer amount of trouble I had doing her face—she doesn't usually do the open eyes smile but I think her eyes are pretty so I thought I'd try it out! For me it was really important to get the shape right cause she has a very distinctive face and if I mess it up it doesn't look like her (or maybe that's my perfectionism talking who knows).
I imagine that this is what she looks like when meeting people for the first time or inviting them to be her tsuguko—something she does semi-frequently. Alternatively, I can imagine why people tend to mistake her casual interactions for flirting XD
But hey can we get a moment of silence for the hair and clothes? I think those came out well—I've said this a million times but those are my favorite things to draw :3

Reika's current design was actually inspired by a kitsune OC I made with a friend a few years ago—I don't really work with that character anymore but I thought it was a nifty fact so there you go :D
