Oh, why hello there my lovelies!
It has dawned on me that Shizuku and Hanayo's dynamic pretty closely matches to Aoi and Kanao, at least in this particular scene. Once that dawned on me, I just had to draw it, so there you go! That, and it's dawned on me that it's been a while since I've drawn these two, and I love the way their color palettes contrast each other's. This was also the product of a massive drawing spree I went on last night XD
Up above is the scene I used, cause this only works if we're honest.
I will say it took a couple of tries to turn Aoi's pants into Hanayo's skirt and to get her bangs right, but we got there eventually! Same goes for Shizuku's ponytails, for some reason on random days they don't want to cooperate with me. Luckily those were the only things in this drawing that I had a particularly hard time with :D
Honestly I don't know if I'd call these two friends so much as "two fellow demon slayers who generally tolerate each other since they're forced to be together," with Hanayo occasionally getting annoyed with Shizuku and Shizuku being too lost in imagination land to notice or care much. Somehow they make it work, I don't know how XD
