Okay first of all, little life hack for drawing black pleated skirts: after you color it in, if you erase the linework you can actually see the pleats and it looks cool and manga-esque.
Anyways, to tide us all over while I get through my latest phase of losing all my drawing ability randomly, I present to you everyone's favorite stone cold crystal queen, Maiyu :)
I don't know how she came out looking judgmental, but now that I see it I kinda just decided to roll with it. This is how she gets to basic displays of emotion anyways so it still fits
I keep experimenting with different ways to color her eyes and maybe eventually I'll settle on one
As usual her hairpieces were a pain in the butt, I don't know why I did this to myself. However, I did have a lot of fun with her hair this time around. There was a time where I considered getting rid of the pink ends but I think this convinced me to keep them.

Maiyu's favorite crystals are sapphires and quartzes, possibly because they match her color scheme but she just likes the look and feel of them (she also likes how quartz can be multiple colors). These make up the majority of her collection.
