Well hello again!

Honestly, it's kinda crazy how I finally got to this point, since I've been doing this thing for so long now. But alas, all things must come to an end at some point. So, for the final time, I present to you my newest bean Nagisa as Hermes, god of travelers, and messenger of the gods!

So, funny story: I was having a mini-but-not-mini panic over who I was going to pick for Hermes when I was in the process of creating Nagisa. I swear this wasn't intentional, but it ended up dawning on me that he would be perfect for the role about a few weeks or so before I published him in my OC book. He's helpful and kind, and a little flirty, but it's quite difficult to find out his true intentions behind things. There's often more behind his smile than meets the eye~

Now his outfit design was where the real struggle began. Drawing it wasn't too much of a challenge, but unlike some of the others I had no idea where I wanted to go with it. The cape was actually a last minute addition after watching some animatics for inspiration (I also looked up actual Hermes, but I'm not drawing my character without clothes on my doods so that was immediately out). The purple and silver helped point to his normal color scheme, though I tried to distinguish his outfit from Circe's dress since it turns out that he has a very similar color scheme to Shizuku.

Sometimes, you just have to jump right in and see where the wind takes you, and luckily the wind took me here cause the more I look at this, the more I don't hate it :D

This was my third time drawing his hair, and those wavy bangs will probably end up being the bane of my existence, but what's art without a challenge every so often? At least the wing helmet covers up some of my mistakes XD

I put Hermes's song above—it's a really fun listen and honestly the casting for that was too heckin perfect. It was just like how I felt when hearing Kira Stone—when I heard this man sing I knew that Nagisa would be perfect for this role too :)

Well...I guess that's it! Here marks the end of the My Characters in EPIC series. Thanks to everyone who stuck around for the whole thing, it was certainly an adventure!

I'm probably going to take a mini break from Greek-Mythology inspired drawings and do some actual character art for a bit while I get the honorable mentions sketched and in order. I have some ideas submitted and some ideas from my own brain that I'm excited to bring to the page, so stay tuned for that! (It's not too late to request something by the way—if you can't think of anything but want your characters to be featured, I'm happy to pick something if that's okay!)

As for now, see ya!
