Because I've been getting into drawing, this is a way to keep things organized >~<

Sooo remember way back when I said I'd get drawing inspiration from the oldie but goodie (surprisingly graphic at times) anime soap-opera rumbling hearts? Yeah, here it is XD
this was saved in my drafts, but I just now titled it and wrote a description. If I actually had the energy to crank out a bunch of drawings in a day, then assume I accidentally drank a green tea again XD
I figured if I was featuring my new beans in my art book, might as well include these two right? It even fits with the sibling theme. So, introducing Nagisa and Shouko, the magical duo!
So this drawing actually has a bit of story behind it—as you can see he's introducing his adoptive sister with crippling anxiety to...well, whoever your heart desires. I did put a bit of hesitation before the word sister, if you caught it—very much intentional from the benevolent writer~ (but that's all I'll say hehehehehehe)
now if only Nagisa's hair wasn't such a pain in the butt, I'd be absolutely golden :D (lord knows how many tries the ~curtain bangs~ took)
But no, this isn't another episode of Melody Can't Draw Dudes. He actually came out pretty okay, which I'm honestly a little impressed with cause the reference I was using was of two girls, and I already have trouble drawing guys. A little trial and error never hurt anyone!
As for Shouko, the actual drawing didn't take too much effort, it was actually moreso coloring that tripped me up—specifically trying to get the right shade of purple for her cloak. I'm still not sure if it's more of a cool/royal purple versus a warm one, since it tends to change every time I draw it. Now I could use a color picker, but where's the fun in that? XD
Well, since it's their first chapter, I can do a taisho secret on both of them!
For Nagisa, he actually enjoys practicing magic tricks and always has a deck of cards that he shuffles and fidgets with, especially when he starts feeling tense/has too much energy.
As for Shouko, she enjoys watching these magic tricks—she's especially fascinated by vanishing acts. It's her dream to see a full performance one day, but she hasn't told anyone (so it really is a taisho secret :3)
