So I know it's been a pretty long while since we last saw an update to this. I started school a few weeks ago, and I'm trying to get my butt in a nursing program so there's a lot of studying going on. However, rest assured that I did not abandon this project completely! On the contrary, I present to you Everyone's Favorite Mom Friend as Hera, queen of the gods!

So as we may know, Hera's the goddess of marriage and childbirth, and Kasumi highly values her family (that and of course, she's Everyone's Favorite Mom Friend, and a hopeless romantic as well as a loyal wife). Luckily for her, her husband doesn't have perpetual infidelity habits XD
As for the art process, I struggled with finding poses for a while until ibis paint offered the perfect one for me (shown above). For the outfit I was inspired by peacocks, as those are one of Hera's symbols and I often see her depicted with them in animatics and the like.
I added lots of gold accents because she's a queen and deserves it, and while the facial expression took trial and error, I hope it showed her more flirty side and ~divine feminine.~ I thought the color gradient dress was a nice touch—I tried to differentiate it from Poseidon, so let me know what you think!
Well, I'm excited to get back to this series, and I hope you're enjoying it so far even with the delays. We're past the halfway point, people!
