so I meant to take a one day break to recharge my energy after the Herculean labor (hehe) that was Ren As Odysseus, and then life happened so that day turned into like five days. But, I think the break was well worth it, because now we have Hanayo as Ares, the god of war!
Why did I choose her for Ares, you may ask?
Well first of all I thought it would be really funny, but second of all I thought it was a great callback to the fact that she's short-tempered and when she fights she doesn't really think about strategy—rather, she just tries to kill/injure as many demons as possible and lets her strong emotions fuel her and guide her actions. Also, artistically speaking I imagined that the outfit and stuff would suit her too. Ares was actually my original idea—while I had a bit of debate over whether I should make her Helios, I went with this instead :)
After all, while Helios plays a role in the Odyssey, I don't think he's in EPIC the musical- though I am planning to do an "honorable mentions" after this series is done where I do some ideas that didn't make the Final Cut (as well as some of your ideas, and maybe even some of your beans if you wanna see them as Greek mythology figures who knows :0)
Speaking of artistic stuff, considering how much I was dreading drawing Greek Armor again, I was able to do it relatively quickly this time around! :D (I guess this is another example of Melody Worries for Nothing). I'm fact I'm actually really proud of how the cape came out, thanks Kanao once again XD

In fact, the only thing that really troubled me was the facial expression- turns out it's hard to combine adolescent girl with anger issues and war god who revels in bloodshed, but hopefully I managed to strike a bit of an in between
Wattpad is still not letting me put videos, otherwise I'd put the song God Games for sure- :p
For now, I'll see you for the next one! Hopefully there won't be as much of a delay this time XD
