So, in return for the lovely SakuShizu drawing that my lovely friendo avaaviesflowergirl has done for me, I decided to return the favor! Therefore, I present to you my own drawing of our iconic cherry blossom Sakura, and our favorite dreamer Shizuku :)
Credit for the base goes to the original artist above! This only works if we're honest XD
Honestly, I was surprised at how little I struggled with Sakura—I managed to get her hair right on the very first try even! The skirt did take me a couple tries but that's just because I got the length wrong at first- overall I think this might be one of my best drawings of her.
As for Shizuku, that's when things got a bit more interesting- by which I mean trying to figure out her hair without making it look like she was holding nothing. Not sure if I reached that goal but I do like the final product :)
And the butterflies were of course mandatory—I did wing it with the wing designs (pun intended) but I think they really complete the look!
