Wow, I really woke up and chose violence toward my Hashira sisters- and not only that but I used a scene from love live as my base/reference (shown above)
Anyways, the idea behind this is that Reika's just found out that their parents (who she has mixed feelings about given that they're the reason for her abandonment issues) are dead and that she's never gonna get closure. On top of that, she's also having a massive truth bomb dropped on her in the form of the fact that Kanon hid this from her to protect her from...well, this exact scenario.
Fun fact, this was my first time drawing Reika with an expression that's not smiling, and given that she usually is (even when she's upset/angry, to a point), you just know that this is just tearing her apart-
Meanwhile, because if you think I'm letting Kanon get off without writer torture, she's watching the scenario she feared come to life, as she never wanted to hurt her sister~
