Hello my lovely friends and readers!
I'm not sure if anyone missed the Hanami Sisters, but either way I have brought them back to my art book!
For these two I got some inspiration from Shinobu and Kanae's early dynamic, with Hitomi being the kind and level headed one and Haruka being more temperamental. As a result, Hitomi tends to find herself having to smooth things over—"Sorry about my sister," is a phrase more commonly spoken than they'd like to admit XD
For some reason Haruka's ponytail was giving me trouble today—you'd think with how much I love drawing the bangs/ponytail combo that wouldn't be the case, but life had other plans for me I suppose. Hitomi on the other hand gave me a run for my money, with her haori, face, and hair all deciding to nope out on me. Nevertheless, I pushed through because I wanted to show these girls some love, and I think the final product was worth it! :D
Anyways, it's time for a taisho secret!
whenever someone asks them if they're twins (along with the many, many questions people feel the need to ask—trust me, I know), Haruka has been known to come up with more outlandish answers each time. While Hitomi has tried to correct her in the past, she has since been converted to the ~Dark Side~
