Hello my lovely beautiful friends! I figured that since I drew my Hashira sisters separately, the natural next step would be to draw them together! :D
That, and I've been drawing Shouko and Miyuki a lot lately—as much as I love them I wanna show my other beans some love too :)
The picture I used as a reference/base is above—fun fact, the characters in the picture are actually Kanon/Reika's voice claims, which I thought was kind of neat. As much as I'd love to use this as an excuse to ramble about rumbling hearts, I'll instead ramble about my drawing process!
So, I made some minor edits to this—for starters I placed Reika in front because she tends to be more of a "leader type" in their dynamic, as well as changing her facial expression just a bit. Other than that, I mostly stayed true to the original reference!
Speaking of Reika, she actually took quite a bit of trial and error, from her hair/head shape to getting her arms and hands to make sense. They may or may not make sense, but I don't have the energy to attempt again so this is what we're working with folks!
As for Kanon, her face and hair were pretty easy (it suits her so well oh my goodness), and I even managed to draw her pants on the first try! The main struggle I had for her was her haori since it's a pretty unique cut and her arms were behind her back. Yes I know I did this to myself, that's a minor detail XD
Don't they just look like such a fun duo? (Rhetorical question but answer if you wish lolz)
